Praying Fajr and reading Qur'an right after is a natural and spiritual way to have a routine inshaallah. 🙏 Depending on the time of year, you could always go back to bed after but how it is now it just works to stay up if you're wanting an earlier start to your day.
yesss!! I started this a couple years ago and after I read the Quran I'm already ready to start the day! so I just plan my wake up time around fajr and in the summer I'll just take a nap after duhr hahaha
I read my Bible every morning & pray & try to listen to uplifting worship music while I get ready or a spiritual/biblical podcast before I start work! It held me to make sure I give honor & glory to God for each new day, & keeps my mind focused on making sure I live how He wants me to. 🙌🏿❤️
Yay for a new morning routine! The morning sets your day!! My morning routine has changed since working from home but this is it while working from home: 1) get up around 7am 2) use the bathroom, pray, set affirmations for the day, and make coffee and lemon water by 7:45 3) start working by 8am 4) eat lunch around 11:30 or noon depending on my meetings 5) work until 5 and go to a workout class at 5:30 6) run an errand or two and then make dinner with my hubby 7) shower and skin care 8) pray, read a book, watch a video or two on TH-cam 9) lights out by 10pm This is what works for me while working from home during Covid during the work week. My weekend schedule is workout first thing in the morning, come home, shower, make coffee and breakfast and I’m set for the day. Before Covid, I would get up for a 6am workout class and come home around 7:15am and be in the office by 8:15. I absolutely loved this routine and miss it so much but I also love sleeping in now. It’s a trade off. Cheers to routines that will mentally, physically and emotionally help you!!
my new morning routine for 2021 is taking my b12 pill, getting breakfast before preparing for my 1 hour walk, then do my workout after my walk (i work out 6 times a week). this routine really helps me feel productive and just makes me feel good in general!
About you waking up earlier, you can set your alarm like 5-10 mins earlier than the alarm the day before and you can ease yourself into waking up at 6:30.
One thing I've found to be really helpful in the morning, is wearing blue light glasses at bedtime the night before especially. I didn't think they'd make that much of a difference, but they do. I get a better night's rest after all the random evening scrolling and shopping I do.
Hey Aysha, It's amazing ur changing your morning routine. I made similar changes last year and it's been amazing. Another big change that I made was doing intermittent fasting. I read Dr. Jason Fung and I found incredibly helpful.
Oh my God Aysha! I have finally JUST also established a morning routine for myself as well! I have a pretty solid night time routine which is simple and it helps me wind down...and then I finally realized that winding UP is just as important! So I basically do my fajr routine, I do some Qur'an & I am trying to do my journaling at that time to make sure I get it in. I do "morning pages", inspired by Julia Cameron (whose book I have yet to read but I learned about the idea). Been journaling for years so this was intuitive for me, but I recommend looking into it if you wish to have some good self-therapy in small doses. Anyway, after that, I do a mild to medium workout in the morning! I'm not in shape to be doing any crazy workout yet haha But MAN I feel amazing after all of these things Alhamdolillah. Then, I can make a smoothie or food and then I get cleaned up and get to work. It is awesome!! I love hearing other people's morning routines now haha Also, LOVE what you said about going to sleep early! That has been the best thing for me! I was doing my student teaching and I was sooooo exhausted and I started naturally being so sleepy around 9pm and so now I try to go to bed at 9pm and be asleep a little while after that. I actually wake up at 6am fully ready to go at that point. Like...sure, I can be a little groggy but I am ready to be awake haha
@@نبيلة-ص8ص it's a pretty mundane one, but it helps me! Haha I brush my teeth and floss first. Flossing was a hard habit for me to be consistent about, so when I did get consistent, it helped me slow down and take my time at night haha. Next, I make wudu and then spray rose water on my face. It acts as a toner and cleanser. I don't always use cleanser since I rarely wear makeup aaand it's winter and dry right now aaand i make wudu for prayer so I feel like my face is fairly clean haha otherwise, esp in summer, i will use a gentle cleanser. Then, I use jojoba oil as a moisturizer. Argan oil is good, too, bc it doesn't usually break people out. I then apply lotion as needed on my body. Then, I change into pajamas and get into bed. Sometimes, I read really mundane books bc I'm trying to wind down and fiction is too excited at that time for me haha. Psychology books or other non-fiction could be great for this part! Or even Qur'an, depending on my Qur'an goals at the time. But generally, I only read at night if I still have some energy leftover from the day. Most of the time I just relax and fall asleep haha if you find yourself wanting to be on your phone...try getting a clock with an alarm for the next day, and leave your phone in another room. I was shopping around for a clock and the mere search was enough for me to reduce phone use before bed haha I still plan on getting one to cut it out completely haha
Girl, freeze your bread and it'll last for so long!! No matter the brand haha especially if you have some kind of toasting thing for bread to re-heat it haha
It makes me feel better to change out of my pjs too. I am a stay at home-homeschooling mom. I also work from home. Before the pandemic, I had a gym membership .. needed up buying a treadmill and I try to walk on there very morning.
With kids a have to wake up early. The evening before I like to clean up all the mess we as a family produce haha. But it’s a good start for the next day. I can prepare breakfast, lunch boxes for school. And fuel myself up with a large cup of coffee 🤍 Bismillah!
As always so inspiring I usually read o quran every morning and dhkir Alhamdullilah adds so much blessings to my morning. On another do have any recommendations for vitamin c serum?
I like my green tea 🍵 so much And I love your morning routine For me if am not working I wake up 5:30 am shower and pray ❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽 You looking beautiful as always ❤️😍
Unless you have family in the US, the brand isn’t very well circulated. Check revolve or cultbeauty, they sell supergoop and ship internationally, however, check if they are able to ship to Nigeria.
Try Meditating in bed before you start your day it will CHANGE everything. Clear mind, relaxed body, better mood. Try this one. (Morning meditation and wake up yoga for a great day) yoga by candace.
I try to wake up early before my kids (I have a 3 year old and 7month)they wake up 7,7:30 am I’ve been forgotten to eat breakfast or have my coffee lately so inshallah I’m gonna try and wake up at 5 pray fajir and enjoy couple of hours before they get up 😁 You should make shakshoka I eat it everyday! Lol
I'm sure it's a great product but I think it should be used as a last step in the skincare routine. So I wonder what the science behind this product is that makes it like a serum sunscreen.
I recently watched a video : th-cam.com/video/2uxIY599DNg/w-d-xo.html and it spoke about time blocking along with other things which I think most people do do ... but to intentionally writing it down and trying to check things off I think 🤔 is something I’ll take away from you video.... nothing is usually a coincidence 🧐...2021 👍
I pray and try to add my cleaning after but with having my child I can’t really do much for myself in the morning. If you like you can see what I do @Tassandra. But I love watching you sister...

Y’all I’m converting this week. But I feel like I need a sign to know if I am making the right choice
Inshallah, it will be the best decision of your like❤ May Allah make it easy for you🥰
Trust Allah and yourself to make this decision. May Allah make it easy for you, in shaa Allah.
Salam, there is a video on TH-cam called "How Ruben (Abu Bakr) became a Muslim". I recommend you watch it. ☺️
Allahuma barik x
The fact that Allah led your heart towards Islam is the biggest sign in of itself! May Allah swt bless you with an infinite amount of peace x
You can tell someone was raised well especially when they have a really good mother Mash’Allah! ❤️

I find it helpful to read a scripture from the bible every morning, it helps set the tone for the day.
Try the 5 minute journal app. I have it and enjoy using it because it also lets you capture a photo for that day as well.
Having a routine is so important for everyone, not just kids. Also, naps are okay! Lol I loved this video cuz I need a routine so bad.
If you decide to journal, do either an affirmation of the day, gratefulness list, or journal to your future self. One of these or all three 💖

To the clear water, add warm water mixed with sugar and that will do the magic to your plants 🦋🌤

That cup you were drinking the green tea from is sooo pretty. Try the red rooster hot sauce too. It is so good to me.

love the new morning routine aysha! random question - where is your white non stick pan from that you made the eggs in?! 🍳
