No short box came with a 454 big block. Only in 1990
Sorry to burst your bubble , but you're dead wrong . Square fenders short beds from '73 to '79 were available with the 454 . They came back as the SS 454 from '90 to '93 .
I had a C20 454 8mpg was the most I could ever get out of it
