  • Sedans with naturally aspirated V8’s are becoming a thing of yesteryear. Only the Lexus IS500 and Dodge Charger 392 remain. This is why I chose to buy the 2007 Chrysler 300C SRT8. Life is too short to drive econoboxes. You have to live! I am quite impressed with this vehicle for its age. The ride is supple yet sporty. The tech is adequate for the 2020’s even though this was produced in 2007. The engine sound is like none other. The experience is priceless.

      Hay Zane does yours have the adjustable pedals, I just checked my 09 and it doesn't, unsure if my headlights change direction when turning either, had mine on trademe for a bit there for 37k with zero interest so pulled it off, yeah probably keep it like you haha, bloody good cars

    Hidden feature on the steering wheel. If you hold both the navigation and audio buttons on the steering wheel (both inner bottom buttons) for about 6 seconds. It comes up with a bunch of cool menus which you can scroll through, Digital rpm/ speedo/ mpg etc 👍🏼💪

    Back when these things were new my friend bought a charger srt8 and I borrowed it for a month (we switched cars). I remember the trunk also being very heavy and you had to hold it from slamming shut and god forbid you would get your hand caught when the trunk was coming down… ouch. He also had the spoiler on the charger srt8 so it made it even more heavy. One thing I couldn’t understand is mopar not giving a basic thing like HID lights for the charger,I was in shock when he told me it wasn’t even an option. The half cloth half leather was also a little bit weird but otherwise a beast of a car especially back then. I remember the way that thing yelled at WOT. Made my BMW e60 550i at the time with a 4.8 V8 sound like a wimp.

    Hi there, i've bought a 2008 SRT8 here in Germany last month which came originally from Bahrain/Arabia. Some weird things therefore on it.

    Hay PCGC, do you plan to keep you're SRT8 for awhile, the interior on the 06-07(maybe 08) are horrible, that beige, silver and chrome makes you wonder who the heck was in charge of interior haha, must have got the sack from 09 where they blacked interior, very nice 300 bro, 300GANG💪

      I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet… I want to slowly work my way to a 300C 392 but that’ll take a while as this is just my second car and not my main one, so I couldn’t justify having two expensive vehicles. I agree with you on itnterior…

    Thats not a 2011, that has to be a 2005-2007 model year. The trunk has a duck spoiler built in

    • @pcgcgarage
      @pcgcgarage  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s a 2011 per the door. W212. That’s the AMG package on it so it gives it the spoiler

      @pcgcreviews6760 really? Wow I didn't know they reverted back to the flat trunk and spoiler can you show a short video of the tag, I'm really interested and perplexed about that something I never knew.

    Do you recommend picking up a really clean one to keep as a collector forever? Do you ever see this car becoming "junk"?

    • @pcgcgarage
      @pcgcgarage  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t see this car being junk. In my eyes it is not or never will be. But it’s subjective. The charger would be the safer bet

    What's the cost of ownership for these?

    • @pcgcgarage
      @pcgcgarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve put on 1000 miles and nothing but gas costs so far. It’s pretty low if you take care of it and do the normal maintenance items with quality OEM stuff. It still it’s a performance car so there is a chance of higher cost of repairs

    • @pcgcgarage
      @pcgcgarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is expensive but from what I’ve heard it doesn’t happen often. I wouldn’t be overly worried as long as you take care of the vehicle and do routine maintenance
