I think you need to rewatch Laren's video. He never says that it's a "junk steel" at all, he just says that it's mislabeled for how it's actually produced. It's used in budget knives. Have you ever used a knife with ARRPM9? Did it fail or under perform to your expectations? I have a pyrite as my junk drawer knife and it's been working great for me...

Artisan has sick designs and generally excellent fit and finish. I love that they are spearheading the charge into S90v as their default premium option. The two things they need to improve: customer service (I'm sure Knifecenter knows what I'm talking about, because if there's a manufacturing defect, they are the ones who will have to make it right, as Artisan will be MIA) and let's join the party and move to captive pivots!!!

No sorry. American knife makers selling out, and spending over the last decade going to China to show them every process of how to make a quality knife, is what made this possible. Otherwise they'd still be making junk or clones
I love the proto... Sorry I mean Crusoe, the length of the clip is perfect but a clip that thin for such a weighty knife feels kind of pointless, like it will twist around in your pocket. It's a gorgeous piece overall though, the polish is just money! That online design knife is unbelievable, in the spirit of a sebenza, absolutely beautiful knife.
Do that many people still like frame and inset liner locks? I’m much more satisfied with cross-bar, axis locks. Finger safe and easier to actuate than finger flicking IMHO.
