You haven’t seen a lot of anime then but once the vinland saga anime is wrapped up it’s definitely top 3 anime of all time when it comes to the writing
This season in itself was so good probably the best anime I've seen in years . And the fact that this is a prologue and that Askelaad almost carries half of the season himself just proves how much of a legendary character he is . Really excited for the next season especially the 100 punches , manga readers know what I am talking about 😏
Watching season 2 i realized. Someone does somthing that hurts you (indirectly), does not make them youre enemy. Thorfin saw Askelad as an enemy but by season 2 you find out Askelad took responsibility for his past choises. And as we go deeper in the story meaningfull lessons appear. Where the show started full of action it now reflects on that. I LOVE THAT.

This anime is a masterpiece easily within my top five. Askeladd has my deepest respect. What a story! What a reason to live or shall I say not to die. He started off as an enemy and turned into a goal, a reason to live for Thorfinn. The dynamic between them two was like Thorfinn had nothing else and no one else. Thank you for the amv. It's awesome.
Love how the video made sense with the song, not random videos, the effects from the video creating sounds necessarily, creating a melody with the sound of the video, which matches well and almost seems part of the beat, and this throughout the video. Really good job! :)
Finally, I found a powerful and good Vinland amv. Wonderful job This was incredible. The lyrics fit Thorfinn so much. and I love how you used Thors quote in the beginning to show how much Thorfinn strayed from his father's wisdom and then came full circle at the end.

I love this AMV. It might be one of my favourite examples of an AMV currently on TH-cam. There is just ONE mistake I notice with it (or if it was a concious editing choice, I think it's a bad one). And ever since I noticed it I cannot STOP noticing it. Around 2:14 during the Askeladd/Thors fight scene there is a singular frame of Thors' face. It's barely noticable, but it IS there and the colours of that frame clash with the rest of it so much that I always see it and it breaks up the flow of the AMV.
It's kinda wrong to see Askladd as Thorfin's enemy, he wasn't, he didn't had anything against Thorfin, if he wanted, he could've killed him multiple times, even in the manga, many years after, I still don't see Thorfin winning against an older Askladd.
You can have an enemy that wants nothing to do with you. Thorfinn saw askeladd as his enemy because of what he did. Even if askeladd didn't see thorfinn as an enemy.
