I'm a recovering drug addict.yesterday an old connection came to my house with some arm gear. i nearly used,had the spoons ready and all but a small quiet voice in my heart said "you dont need to do this and I will help you through it". Praise God for his love and his commitment to us, I didn't use and Im still clean today :-)

Me 2 finally got sober 4 years ago then On my 56th birthday I had a heart attack now I am 58 and in March 59 have stage 3 heart decease but still hanging in there by the grace of god I had a massive heart failure died 8 minutes revived with the electric paddles recived a implantable pace maker on left side of my chest with wires going to the left ventricle bottom and top and the size of the pacemaker is the size of a computer mouse protruding out from my skin and the doctor told me this is a new invention in pacemaker he said if I was to have another heart attack that this pace maker would send extremely high current to my body and shock me to get my heart going while the device also sends a report to the call center of a heart attack location THANK YOU JESUS
I remembered worshipping the Lord thru this song the day that I got laid-off from work, just 1 month before our baby are due. Now even in the middle of the pandemic, God gave me a promotion and an even better job to provide for my families.. Praise the Lord, in every season, He is a Good God.

I've never commented on TH-cam in my life (Just gained access to free WIFI..Imagine), but all your comments just humble; the recovering drug addict, the one who lost his/her mom to cancer, the one who mostly kept thinking of us in Africa, the one who fell asleep listening to this song, the one who said "and ever and ever and ever" (funny I was thinking the same thing just last week), the one who said this song made him cry, not forgetting the 3.54 drop comment haha...I could go on. Makes me feel like despite how different we all are, and how different our stories are, we all can come to one accord. And that can only be because of one God. This song is growing on me. I lost my son on December 26, 2016. He became very sick on Christmas day and when Ryan went to bed at 3 in the morning, he never woke up. God took my baby home, and he was only 23 years old. The moment I heard this song I knew God through it would impact me I just didn't know how. I got in a car accident a week after this feeling, with my 3 month son and husband and cousin after trying to rush my son to the hospital for an incident at the community pool that left my son turning blue and becoming unresponsive. He stopped breathing on the way to the hospital he was in my arms and I gave him CPR twice and he finally became responsive, within seconds we wrecked and totaled our car in a creek bed, rolling three times.I never imagined to hear myself scream "my baby" in fear like I did.We prayed the whole time. I believe God was there with us, he left a book that WAS in the trunk, inmy sons car seat were my would have sat if I didn't decide to put him in it. The book was "Gods Promise"

I found this song when my anxiety was at an all-time high a couple months ago. It consumed my life. I would cry myself to sleep, trying so hard not to give in to my chaotic mind. I ended up developing an eating disorder (ARFID), depression, hypochondriasis/OCD, and lots of health issues. It all just took such a big toll on my emotional, physical, and spiritual health that there were so many times when I was too terrified to fall asleep, convinced that I wouldn't wake up if I did. I constantly felt shameful that I continuously did that to myself. It was almost impossible to trust that I wouldn't stay in that state for the rest of my life. It was very difficult and lonely, because many of the people I know don't take things like anxiety serious and I can only think of one family member who helped me get through. Listening now, God is showing me so many things and how far he's brought me. Im so much better now and I honestly am so thankful that he brought me out of that. His love gives me joy and strength. He was my peace throughout those extremely dark and scary times. I just give my being to You, God. Hopefully this is somewhat relatable or helpful to at least one person out there.
