No, he was in the tardis with Amy and Rory, then the tardis was not able to land in the direction they wanted, the safest place to land was the "ponyverse" but it was only safe for the doctor, so he was able to survive due to his regeneration. But amy and rory wereh torn apart, literally. Theyh died in the tardis while the doctor regenerated into a pony and met derpy. And plus, if you say that derpy is river under disguise, river is unable to regenerate.
I remember watching these as they were coming out years ago. I was in a kinda bad spot mentally and they helped me so much. Who would've thought I'd be back here for a little comfort. (Mentally stable and an adult now) these made me so happy and i really only looked them up for the little lullaby that derpy sings. It still calms me down so very much. So thank you for so very much.

Boy, I was so naïve...I can't believe those innuendos flew right over my head.
Oh my gosh, it took me forever, but I finally recognized that first song playing! It was from Full Moon wo Sagashite. And some other songs. It fits well!
I have to admire the artstyle of this blog. Clearly, the artist behind it had a lot of thought and effort put into it. It shows in not only how the characters look but also in their expressions.
Let's take a break for a moment to question the evolutionary value of the 'Wing-Boner'. Now, at first my theory was that the Wing-Boner was a 'fitness display' for pegasi. When aroused, the pegasi's wings would extend to their full value, thus showing off to the potential mate the condition of the pegasus' wings. The other pegasi would then (subconsciously, probably) decide if the suitor's wings were fit enough for mating. Think of it kinda like a peacock's feathers, or a baboon's behind. They're sections of the body dedicated to showing how adapt and healthy one's genetic code is. So, that theory seems sound enough; The Wing-Boner is a method of displaying and flaunting health and fitness. But then the question arises; Why would it be an uncontrollable impulse? It seems counterproductive; being forced to show that you're aroused in such a conspicuous fashion. What if you got a Wing-Boner while you were flying? That would mean certain death. So does the pegasi just not get aroused when flying? But that doesn't make sense, as one could easily get perverted thoughts or be flying close behind the backside of some attractive pegasus. So, assuming my first theory is accurate, then this clearly can't be a forced response. Or, if it is, there is some method of preventing it from occurring. Being airborne is too general of a clause to be the blockade; It would be too easy to trick the body into thinking it was in the air or on the ground etc. So then the on/off switch must be in the mind itself, not some bodily trigger. This would allow a pegasus to be able to prevent a wing-boner while airborne. But that then raises the question, why would Derpy not prevent it in some of these situations with the Doctor? She clearly is embarrassed and wants to not have them happen, so why would she allow this to happen? If it's a subconscious trigger, it still begs the question; Why is it forced? It would make more sense if it was just an urge the pegasus felt, "Oh, I really want to straighten my wings because I really like this pony, but I won't because I don't want them to know/I'm currently airborne", rather than it's forced "Oh crap, nononono go back down wings please no why does this keep happening?" This leads me to my ending theory; Derpy just can't control her wings. We already know her genetics are a tad wonky (at least, I believe her lazy eye is genetic) so it would make sense that she would have some other issues, such as not being able to control her wing-boners. Where most other pegasi learn to suppress the muscle response as they mature, Derpy simply couldn't manage to get it to stop, either through a lack of mental willpower, some subconscious gibberish, or a chemical/hormonal imbalance in her brain. ...This is what I spend time thinking about, folks. I seriously need to get out of the house more. Anyway, feel free to critique, rebute, or suggest your own theories as to this matter; Frankly, I find it a strangely interesting topic.
but... The doctor can't control it either when he gets those. He actually said "They won't fold down" before. I imagine that wing boners only happen when the wings are relaxed and not in use. The body does know when it's moving sooo it's not impossible

In Finn’s theory, he says that most Pegasi learn to control the urge with maturity. But the Doctor has just gotten these wings and I am not even sure that he has the genetics to make control of his wings possible. Perhaps since he has just turned into a Pegasus, perhaps he has the genetics of a very young filly. So he probably couldn’t control the impulse since he is not used to having wings. Not a likely explanation, but nonetheless a explanation worth thinking about. 2. He spontaneously just so happened to sprout wings and he has the physical traits of a pony, so his genetics are also messed up at the moment. He probably wouldn’t be genetically capable of controlling such things. Similar to Derpy who has wonky genetics but for different reasons. 3. He has the genetics of a pony, which makes it even more tricky. You could say that he shouldn’t have these impulses at all. But you could also say that he can have this reaction since most ponies regardless of race have certain *cough*, hormones. And his wings merely respond. And his pony genetics aren’t meant for controlling the wings muscle response. I don’t know if any of these make sense but I believe that they are ideas that we can think about!
