Baysajaguru Buddha is also known as Medicine Buddha Lazuli Light Tathagata, Medicine Buddha who eliminates misfortunes and prolongs life, or the Great Medical King Buddha, Medical King Good Death, King of Twelve Wish, etc. He is the leader of the Oriental Pure Lazuli World. According to scriptures, Medicine Buddha's body is like glass, clear and untainted. The Buddha's light on his body spreads all over the world and can heal all diseases and pains in the world. Therefore, reciting the Medicine Master’s empowerment mantra can communicate with the infinite energy of Medicine Buddha and bring health to oneself and others.
藥師佛又稱藥師琉璃光如來、消災延壽藥師佛，或大醫王佛、醫王善逝、十二願王等別稱，為東方淨琉璃世界的教主。根據經文記載：藥師佛身如琉璃，清澈無染，其身上的佛光照遍大千世界，能療癒世間一切疾病與痛苦。因此誦念藥師灌頂真言，可溝通藥師佛無窮能量，為自己與他人帶來健康。
