Wasn't close at all. Each time Ryan switched on him, he was either hugging or visiting the canvas. Dev had absolutely nothing to give and was kept in the fight by the ref. It's a dangerous sport and I think Shakur's advice is good. He needs to recover fully physically and psychologically.
