- Ange Capuozzo has completely galvanised Italian rugby. Since the famous against Wales in the last minute, he has been the new face of the resurrection of the Italian rugby team. He has recently signed a contract with the Stade Toulousain and scored two tries in their historic win over Australia.

The speed, the size, the joy while playing and the courage of this young guy are astonishing. He's pretty smart as well: he could easily score that try vs Wales but at the corner so, after 79' he's still alert, pass the ball (and the try) to a better placed teammate who scored under the post. Brilliant.
And he is already playing in the best club in Europe, he is gonna be something special to watch.

Robinson had the same class but roughly half the speed, so I expect this young fella to do miracles

First time I've heard of him and the dude moves so comfortably in the most uncomfortable looking positions. He's calm under pressure, aware of the space and he not only makes quick decisions but he even sees the right decision 🧐 Natural.. he reminds me a lot of the legendary Welshman, Shane Williams.

And for your information, Ange was born and raised in France, tailored by the french rugby system, he choose Italy because of his grandparents from his father’s side, the ones from his mother’s side being from France and Madagascar.

Damn to think he could play for the French team since he was born in France from French and Italians parents. But It is what It is, and It's nice to see him shine in this entertaining Italy squad :) Hopefully Italy Team will keep improving and getting stronger. Rugby will be all the more interesting to watch.

Il démontre une fois de plus, que dans le rugby pro moderne, qu’il n’est pas besoin de peser 100kgs pour être un 3/4 percutant qui déséquilibre les défenses.

Being small, light, quick, and manoeuvrable can be a real advantage on a rugby field especially when lots of players are getting bigger and heavier. Which can be good but makes it harder for them to change direction quickly on defense.

when i fisrt saw him at the u20 rugby world cup, he was allready astonishing, but at the time I tought this is a young guy with a lot of qualities and skills, but he is too small to become a real rugby player. Sooooo glad i was wrong, he is becoming a model for all young boys and girls who would give up because they think rugby is only for brainless bulls.

T’as vu le squad à Toulouse ? même Kolbe n’avait plus sa place à l’aile tellement ça pousse derrière en -20, avec le petit Rétière aux mêmes 3 postes c’est bouché, poste 15 c’est mort: faut péter les jambes de Ramos et Jaminet, Lebel à l’aille c’est une F1 avec Mallia, en 9 bah tu fais doublure de Dupont… Je l’aurais plutôt vu à Clermont cette saison avec Penaud ça aurait fait des étincelles.
@@joachimmahoudeaux8619 Je pense qu'il peut jouer à l'aile avec Lebel en laissant Ramos se battre avec Jaminet pour le poste d'arrière. Je vois mal Retière, Tauzin ou Bonneval lui faire de l'ombre

Oui enfin, il est italien comme moi je suis belge. De loin, mais ça suffit apparemment pour le faire jouer en sélection italienne. Faudrait finir avec ces règles d'un autre temps, tout comme les naturalisations pour le seul prétexte d'une sélection.
Ceci dit, joueur exceptionnel. Quel spectacle de le voir jouer.

Exactly so I’m correct in saying the french didn’t pick him in the team so he approached the Italian manager and asked to play for them instead and they said yes. The french have a good team already.
