Not sure if you caught it but the couple Lalo kills.. the guy who shaved his beard.. that's Lalo's "Break glass in case I need to fake my death" double (the burned body). Lalo literally hired the guy cause he kinda looked like him... then Lalo sent him to his dentist to have his teeth worked on (mentioned by the wife) but then had them swap their records. They just thought he was a kind benefactor who let them work and live on his property.
Love the analysis! I also love how the opening makes it clear that the scene is reminiscing about the glory days: the paintings are going down, Saul's poster is literally going into the garbage, his other cutout is moving in a downward direction, etc. We also see both Saul (with the golden toilet from which he can Chicago Sunroof his haters) and Jimmy (the toilet in the small room from where he can look out onto the world, and the Viagra). And the ties going from black and white to color foreshadows that this season is going to shake things up because we're used to seeing Gene at the beginning of the season Edit: 16:55 I love how characters are filmed in a box when they feel trapped
I love the tequila lid on the floor at the beginning. It's always been used to resemble Jimmy and Kim's cons and seeing it on the floor is like a big "it's all over".
I wonder if that tequila lid is the same one do we saw before I think Kim had it last so somehow Jimmy kept it all these years or maybe he just drinks that tequila again at some point and reminisces either way it seems he kept it and he's holding on to some small part of that past
started off in B&W like in Gene's time line, and then turned to color.. with all those colorful ties. And have you noticed all the toilets they use in this series.? even in br ba they've were used quite often. one memorable one is when Hank found that BOOK. 😆
Since you didn't comment on it, I figure I'll mention what was going on with Lalo's neighbours in case you missed it. That guy looks quite a bit like Lalo. It seems he's moved them into this place and they even mention he's payed for that guy's dental work. So Lalo walks in and tells that guy to shave his beard. Not explicitly of course, but they clearly got the message. Then, we see the Salamanca cousins at Lalo's house confirming the dead body and I have no doubt that once the federale's check the dental work, they'll find that the teeth confirm that Lalo's definitely dead.
Maybe it's the oddly aggressive tone, or the repetitive phrase, or the English accent, but "Flamingo Check" always reminds me of "ohhhhhh, chimpanzee that - MONKEY NEWS!"
Biggest smile I’ve gotten all day, when I saw Tyler’s uploaded season 6!
Oh shit just realised you’re at 10k now. Good job Tyler you’ve came such a long way
Not just me, thanks to you folks for all the support 😊🙏🏼

The emphasis on downward motion, of the agents dropping everything in boxes, not just setting stuff in, really shows that too

This channel edges like no other.🤨
Glad you're back with BCS.
I appreciate all of your insightful thoughts and observations so very much!
Lalo, Nacho, and Kim were always the characters I was most concerned about watching this show because we had no idea where there stories ended up.

@@ips2124 thank you so much 💙🙏🏼🦩🦩🦩
Better Call Saul focus is on "How", since it's known how things are in the future. Some may even say that the series is a "perfect sequel".
At this point in the series, I had complete trust that they would deliver everything I hoped for. The speculation was lots of fun, though.

So glad you're on the final season. In my opinion, this is the best one
