The next day the rental car did get damaged in the garage and the person who hit the car didn’t leave a note. It was on camera but the camera didn’t pickup the license plate of the car.
So be extra careful if you stay here and have to park in the public garage.

Thank you for this video! 😊 We were curious about this hotel- sorry for your frustration w the parking situation, that was ridiculous and unacceptable. They should’ve further compensated you for your time and the unnecessary hassle.

Thank you! The location was great but I was so disappointed with the customer service there.

Thanks for the video. More on what there is to do at hotel and around the island would have been nice to know or is it just eating and beach and pool time?

Oh my goodness there was so much to do! The street the hotel was on is nicknamed Hawaiian Rodeo Drive. There are a ton of high end shops mixed in and restaurants. The beach is across the street from the hotel. I should have taken more video.
I was upset in this video because of the parking situation. The car got damaged the next day by someone who of course didn’t leave a note in the parking garage too. I didn’t show that in the video.
I definitely want to go back to Hawaii but I would stay in a different hotel with a better parking situation if I stayed in that area.

sometimes vacations and trips don’t go as planned and my best advice is to take a step away from the situation and breathe and don’t let it define your entire stay which i feel like it did because of the title. this hiccup was minor. not sure why you didn’t just stay at the prince for the last night. each of those hotels you mentioned are completely different and the beach comber just happens to be the cheapest of the 3, it’s not known for being a 3 or 4 star hotel and it’s really meant to be a decent hotel in a great location to shopping eating and the beach.

Never been to the Island however I heard it's really gone down hill, to crime and drugs. Is that TURE? Hawaii was so beautiful and original back in the day. Love some old Hawaii Five-O

I did drive through some rough areas and was surprised but in the more touristy areas it’s still very pretty. I know some of the smaller islands are still very nice. But there are some areas in Oahu that are not so nice. Thanks for watching.

Everything you showed looks amazing. I get you’re trying to throw some shade on the parking situation but you never showed that. Unfortunately Waikiki hotel parking is pricey, it can even be more than the cost of the daily rental car. I visit every year and just take a shuttle to the hotel as I don’t need a car most days. I do get a car through Turo for a couple days to drive around the island. Turo does drop off & pick up at the hotel & I only have to pay one night of parking. Each hotel has good & bad… views, food & amenities. Hope you were able to make the most of your visit in Hawaii. 🤙

Waikiki is a spot for tourist influenced by politicians for money. If the politicians/developers have their way the entire south side from the shore a quarter mile inland would all be hotels. It's what they are trying to do now for the money. Soon the south side will be over used over crowded and will be just another city with same stores as any other big city with deteriorating beaches and over priced hotels. All special places that were beautiful and quiet will be full of tourist because of socila media.

So because you didn’t understand where to properly park, you were going to blame the hotel.
    Sounds reasonable🥴

Well considering the hotel literally had a customer service code to refund parking fees for guests who parked in the wrong garage I would say yes it is the fault of the hotel. The person that was in line behind me did the exact same thing that I did and they refunded his parking fee too.
It would make sense to provide better directions instead of losing money refunding guests because of poorly written parking directions.
      But hey thanks for watching!

You should've regrouped yourself after parking. You went in huffin & puffin.. a frowning, pissed off scowl and poor travel attitude. Hope you regrouped and found something you could tolerate with that level of patience and bad travel attitude.

I had a nice dinner and went to the beach after I checked in.
