You made another good point, leaving the flashlight on. This is what people hate about movies now. It clearly makes no sense, but they don't want to bother lighting the actors in the dark. It's just lazy. People recognize it.
yeah, it’s such a small detail, but when they have so many little details like that it makes it hard to miss them
They made her being a vegetarian such a big deal for no reason 😂
OMG FR THO, that was such an unnecessary way to create tension, there was literally so many better ways they could’ve created discomfort in those scenes
When they killed the owner of the house, I just knew, it was going to have no affect on the rest of the movie. And then the guy has a gun to the one killer's head and he says "You know how they say your first kill is the hardest? This is my second." Potentially corny, but I actually loved it because he was about to kill this girl. It would transform the arc of the trilogy if you can kill The Strangers. And then... He gets distracted by the sack guy and gets knocked unconscious. What a fucking let down.
yeah, I was actually hoping that there was going to be some twist there, like the girl in the mask was actually someone they knew or something. Because the way that scene was built up made it seem like they were going to do something insane… and it was just terrible
I might wait to see it when it's at the library, how disappointing. I miss the vibe of the first movie, but I think it was lightning in a bottle. We're not going to get that again.
yeah, I feel like they didn’t commit to the bit as much here. The first movie felt very real, with main characters who were relatable, but in this movie the characters felt like cartoon characters. Some people online are saying it’s good tho, so I definitely would recommend watching it eventually and forming your own opinion on it👍
