To me if the hotel is cheap I’m gonna stay there so long is not in the ghetto side. The only reason I stay in a hotel in Vegas is to sleep shower shit nothing else I have yet to turn on a TV in a hotel in Vegas, my priority is to be walking, drinking, gambling, and all other ill stuff
Completely agree However I tend to avoid circus circus I’ve stayed there twice and both times the rooms had not been cleaned and too many kids running around the casino floor

Circus Circus is still a cool place to visit but I wouldn’t sleep there.
I worked there when I was 17 years old in 1973. At the speedway bumper cars and Zambora and I went to the steakhouse once and I’m going back May 5th on my 30th wedding anniversary..
I went there with my parents back in 1974. It was basically the only casino where kids could play. Fast forward today, $70 total is good with the wear and tear. Renovations will push the rate above $150.
It's the same bed and pillows from 1974.

@DeputyMartin 🤣 I doubt that, although I'm sure there are parts of Circus Circus that have not changed since parts of "Diamonds are Forever" were shot there. That Bond flick is from 1971.
If you are a kid at heart u will love this hotel. I turned 40 & stayed here.I love how they had a circus act perform each day, small water park, it's next door to McDonald's & Deny's. It has an arcade.I will go back & groupon has deals for this place time to time.
I used to destroy everyone at Street Fighter in the arcade back in the 90's. Also had a guy sell me weed in the restroom at Slots A Fun a decade ago.

I really appreciate this open and honest review. I’ve always wondered about Circus Circus and this made me realize that I don’t want to stay there… in their defense though, I will say that at $66 it cheaper than most Motel 6 or Super 8 motels… and the room that you showed is about the condition that I would expect from one of those places that I mentioned. Thanks for the great review.

Finally the young TH-camrs are going to the vintage Vegas places👍😊. Burgess Meredith, the guy who played Penguin on Batman & He played Mickey on Rocky. Well, he was a huge Circus fan & would park his custom bus in the RV park back in the day. 👍

I grew up in Vegas and circus circus was the best. Especially when the theme park was called grand slam canyon and had dinosaurs everywhere. The midway and the arcade were awesome. Excalibur used to have a great arcade in the 90's too.

Tried the Steakhouse couple years ago because I had heard good things (from my mom) and place sucked. Food and service were below average and then you combine that with location, easy pass.

I was just there Oct 2023. It smelled like mildew and there were no wash cloths anywhere in the hotel. When I came home, my stuff smelled mildewy

This place was my favorite as a kid. The Grand Slam Canyon was amazing! It’s just behind the times now.
I always say I'm glad that I've stayed there... but I'm mostly happy about the fact it was the first place I stayed the first time I went to Vegas so I had nothing to compare it to. I always seem to find myself walking through the doors every couple years, whether showing the place to friends that have never been to Vegas, or to go to the Steakhouse. I don't think I'd ever stay there again though. Great video!

2 years ago remember being in there and winning a couple hundred on a slot. Then felt like being followed by shady characters the rest of the time. Did not feel safe at this casino.
I want to go play there now. 2 bucks a beer and coin slots . That’s how it was when I was still underage and got kicked out!

Stayed there back in 2003 the first time I ever went to Vegas when I was 21. Don't remember being disgusted, but also never been back. I mostly remember it being so far from everything else. I usually start at MGM Grand or Park MGM now when I visit.

By the look of the clientele, walking into this hotel is like walking into Walmart. Despite the mafia, the old Vegas had way more class. Now it feels like you are on a cruise ship with a bunch of retired people who need electric chairs to get around.

After planning a trip & traveling to Vegas I’m not staying in a room that should have been refreshed years ago.
There are countless kid friendly destinations why bring kids to Vegas ?

I MISS THAT PLACE SOOOO MUCH we've been trying so hard to move there but it's not been the greatest here lately in TN
In 2021 me and my husband had never been to vegas and didnt do research and decided to stay here cuz it was cheap. Our room wasn’t the worst honestly- our bathroom was way nicer and updated, and knowing now how everyone feels about it could have fooled us because it was so busy mostly with kids and families. I will say I love the lights in the entrance, wish more of the hotel had more of that aesthetic. Kind of far from fun stuff on the strip imo, and ill say, the krispy kreme there was our favorite at 3am 😂😋
People even say there’s bed bugs there 😂

That place is Great according to Dr. Thompsons Las Vegas Guide Book . He was there to cover some motorcycle race . Why didn't you go to The Reptile Lounge ?

As long as it’s profitable, it’ll never get taken down. In my opinion, it’s one of the few remaining OG’s worth keeping around. We lost the Tropicana, and only have CC and the Flamingo left (in which the rooms suck too)

I go to circus circus everytime in las vegas.buffet,adventure dome as well as slot play.havent stayed in hotel yet but on our list one of these days.ok each visit on our vacation
How is the RV park there? I was in the back lot bungalows for $200.00 / night!!!??!!! It looked like a crime scene! Blood and stool in toilet, throwup on bed, mold in fridge with food, phone, tv were broken and radio went off blasting before I left! I went elsewhere! Had to walk far, back to line and waited an hour in line to get outta there!😂
With all that, $200/night is a crime 😬

That steakhouse is my favorite hands down. We stay at cosmo but it’s worth imo to eat and visit circus circus just for that delicious steak. Also I like vintage slots so I will be checking out slots of fun soon

I’ll never forget my first time in Vegas 21 years ago.. I was nine years old and I had the time of my life at the Circus circus.. fast-forward 21 years later, I’ve been to Vegas 6 times and counting, and still, I’ll forever pay homage to that place.. I’d rather sit there and get my 2$ beers and 6$ jacks then any other bs boujee bar on the strip.. you get what you pay for and you’ll probably come across more authentic people there than most places on the strip 🤷🏻♂️
My pops would always book this place when we were kids. Havent staued there since the mid 90's. As an adult, my wife and i would always play at Slot O Fun...but havent been to either in at least 10 years

Best menudo in Vegas is at circus buffet on sat n sun mornings. Good for hangover. But California hotel has ox tail soup available 11pm - 11am. Not far!

We ate at the steakhouse many years ago…glad to see it’s still good. It’s the only bright spot at Circus Circus 🎪.
The place doesn't change. 25 years ago, it looked like that. It's not really in a horrible location. The last time I stayed there was when I went to CES. I walked to the convention center and back from there. Hopefully they can get their act together and refurbish the rooms. If you just need a place to sleep, it should suit you.
It's the classic pyramid scenario. The cheaper, easier or financial something is, the more people are going to take advantage of it.
Growing up going to circus circus as a kid I have nostalgia for it, always had a blast. And the pizzeria they have is good!
Sadly Fright Dome days have been permanently closed for a few years now. It was a fun Halloween experience that I miss.

Thanks for the video Jorge. Looks like a good place for young families. I have dropped in a few times but have never been impressed and usually was back out the door in under 15 minutes. There are a lot better casinos in Vegas I would rather spend my time & money in.

☆☆☆☆☆THE Horrendous Smokey Cigar SMELL walking inside the Front Entrance was a Mega DEAL Breaker for Me. Also I Signed up for the Players Card there and Literally Got NOTHING for doing so. I made a Complete 360 and walked Out The Doors for Good. No More Clowning around there 🎪🎪🎪🎪

I agree and I don’t ever see myself eating there, but I have been to the Steakhouse at Circus Circus and both times have been great. It is by far the best thing in that hotel. 😀

I’ve been to Vegas 28 times and never set foot in circus Circus. Mainly because of location. My next trip this summer I’m actually gonna go in there and go to slots of fun and get a hotdog and play coin slots.
Also I feel like in the last couple months your videos have gotten a lot better and I really enjoy your livestreams. Keep up the good work buddy!

The hotel room was nicer than I expected.
Stayed at Circus Circus in Aug 1995! I was 12 years old so to me the Adventure Dome was awesome! They didn’t have the splash zone then and the pool sucked 😆! There was a restaurant called the Pink Pony or something like that back in 1995 that had the best onion rings! Been in love with Las Vegas ever since!
I remember going upstairs to Midway with $10 all quarters back then 😆! My brother and I would be there until like 1am and then walk back to the Manor with no parents 😝
Circus Circus is probably the only place I want to stay in Vegas. You dont need all the glitz and glamour of Vegas when you wanna sleep. People only spend a little bit of time in their rooms. A room in the Annex cost me twenty dollars a night. You had to take a sky train to the casino, but you wanna see the strip and spend an hour here or there in each casino. I love the Circus Circus. There is a reason why they never closed it and tore it down like the others. It is still prevalent in the part of Vegas. It is the way Vegas used to be. Amazing prices. Tom Crosby YQR Regina Canada.

Wow that's pretty brave of you. I wouldn't take a family anywhere near that place. It's one of the sketchiest on the strip. There's probably many more suitable destinations across the country that are more family friendly.
If the Price is Right/ better and they're not price gouging like the other places . I don't mind.

Hi Jorgito!!! I love the video content and honest review for living up to people standards whether they have kids or not. I feel maybe compile a top 5 worst video as Circus Circus to your standards may be the worst casino for you, but for people with children it's convenient. Here are a couple I believe are BAD/WORSE in my opinion: 1. Hayward Johnson 2. Circus Circus 3. Oyo 4. Excalibur 5. Luxor

I wouldn't suggest it for families at all. It's a rough crowd there. Honestly parents should take their kids elsewhere besides Vegas.
