What Sharon is doing is called a "Reassociation". She's trying to fix the mistakes of the past now because she couldn't fix them then. It happens alot on Soaps. They feel that because they are "Older" they are "Wiser" yet they aren't. Look at The Slaters, from the moment they arrived in The Square, so much drama took place, financials, domestic abuse, breakups and the like but still after all of these years they still don't learn from their mistakes.
Why do these guys hate each other so much? I don't get Eastenders where I am. Also why would Sharon want to sit at The Mitchell Table knowing her "History" with them.
Yes but those guys have to remember not to tempt Sharon since she's a recovering addict. They could have had some Non-Alcoholic Drinks or for One Evening not drink and it wouldn't hurt. Look at Dallas there wasn't one episode where JR didn't have a Cocktail. In later years, in the TV Movie, JR told Bobby after returning to Europe that the Doctors warned him off of the hard stuff so he was perfectly happy to have Iced Tea. On US Soaps especially The Young & The Restless, there's always someone having a Cocktail whether it's at The Collonade Room or Upstairs where The Young Crowd go.
@@laminage you are right about Sharon being a recovering addict but the only difference between her and Phil's "issues" is that she was only ever addicted to painkillers but he was addicted to alcohol and cocaine plus she also didn't have to have a transplant like he did.
