Hello! I'm from Brazil. I'm a Health and Safety Engineer and I would like to know if in Australian this kind of Engineer is considered as a Civil Engineer when it comes to apply a Visa. Thank you very much

Australia does have the equivalent of a “Health and Safety engineer”. We have Health & Safety Officers, consultants and representatives. And is not considered part of the Civil Engineering field.
I would apply to join a company first, as they will help you with your visa application. There are many mining companies here in Australia, that hire many Brazilian people. I personally have a lot of Brazilian colleagues.

If you would like to look more closely at the Australian legislations, you can check out www.safeworkaustralia.gov.au/whs-authorities-contact-information for the specifics of the State or Territory you are interested in. Best of luck!

Hi there! Here is a link to a document by the Australian DVA www.dva.gov.au/sites/default/files/20824180e-work-health-and-safety-management-arrangements-october2020.pdf as an example. Professor Rob Orr at Bond University has a long list of publications exploring health and safety issues in tactical populations, so you could check out his work at www.linkedin.com/in/rob-orr-41075870/. Good luck with your assignment!

Oh man 90% of builders in Canberra do absolutely none of it. When the guy died I ever heard them brain storming ways to cover their own behinds from negligence.
