Hit the nail on the head w this one. That first line about being dopesick at the plugs house waiting on him to call you back, I experienced that wayyyyyyyyy too many times. That feelings is haunting. So glad I’m on the other side seven months later. Long as I’m alive and I’m sober, I’m not stopping!
So grateful you made it to the other side too! Congrats on your recovery

Benjamin Lerner DUDE!!! its so rare to me these days when i stumble across a new song that i truly feel in my freaking soul! Im 37 and have been in deep addiction from hard drugs and IV use for almost 20 years... Im very very recently sober ( since March 27) it always helps me when the world reminds me im not alone( and in such a kick ass way)
Stay focused and keep your eyes on the prize 🎩

Too many pasts like Nash & John Stockton,WHAT, definitely an old-school soul 🎩
Need to get with Atmosphere, you two are doing some magic with this old style flow, it takes a real spirit to make it work and Jesus man you're nailing it. Much respect from a former social service worker.

This is great. Tho i still am on mat, and switched from using AA to the Catholic church, and I still want to get off all psych meds, i am so much better off than i was 5 years ago and in my early 20s before my first long-term sobriety. I liked what you said on Instagram, too, about no one's recovery being better. I was with a group of guys in AA who would try to dictate yr life. Then i found a sponsor who i still talk to that understood that life still happens, and i needed to go to Detroit for work cause there was nothing here and that who rona shit was goin down. At only 8 months at the time, those other guys would have tried to talk me out of it. And i just have more in common with people from my church on a lifestyle basis. But it's whatever works. I've tried a lot of ways and lost a lot of people, but I don't wanna be there again. There's a reason im still living when the Lord knows i could be gone right now.
congrats on your recovery! I support ALL paths of recovery and you're doing awesome! there's no end to better! ODAAT
@benjaminlerner God bless you, brother.
