16 Routes: Where Air Canada Flies Its Very High Capacity 450-Seat Boeing 777s

  • Much attention is given to aircraft jam-packed with premium seats. But what about large aircraft crammed with economy seats? Cebu Pacific crams in 459 seats on its A330-900s, while several a350 operators have tight economy classes with 10-abreast seating. Staying on this theme, we have Air Canada's 450-seat Boeing 777-300ERs. Some operators fit even more seats in their 777s as some have over 500.

I’ve flown on these 3 times, once Vancouver to Toronto, and Toronto to Cancún and back. On the shorter flights like that it’s really not bad at all. Most people flying the leisure routes are checking bags so there was no major issues with overhead bins. All 3 times I sat in the last 3 rows where it’s just 2-4-2 and there were never huge lines for the lavs nor did it take that long to deplane, max 10 minutes maybe

flew these before, typical greedy overpaid CEO and management burns up the cash with their salary then ask for government help whenever they "struggle". they made sure the Business class seats are well so all the TH-cam reviewers who primarily take Business say good things about them. Almost all regular Canadians know how garbage AC really is. I have seen flight attendants on these flights struggle to manage passengers, needing to mad rush back to their seats 10seconds before landing while still having some grandma with some kid in the lavatory unwilling to come out during the whole landing sequence. Westjet used to be better, now is the same or even worst.
