I thought that not snagging Linda Dano was a mistake. Felicia could have been paired with a returning Duncan or Cal (and relived the chemistry with Patrick Tovatt as Zane on AW).
ABC & the Bell shows were good at going the distance for their character crossovers. P&G never did as well with that. Jake was a worthy right hand man for Lucinda, in the tradition of Craig and Kirk. Then again business stories had been abandoned by the time he showed up in Oakdale.
Not sure if that would have worked, since Linda Dano had played Cynthia Haines on ATWT in the early 80s. I hate when they bring back actors as different characters.
I know what you mean. I am a Canadian and I've been watching Coronation St. faithfully for the past three years and now I get to watch Eastenders but I'm two years behind in 2006. I think that someone from the US should go to the UK and see how it's done and see what a "difference" Soaps are across the ocean.
Yes, but then again, almost 30 years separated his time on Our Private World and As The World Turns. It had only been about 17 years since Dano's appearance.
2/16/14 7PM. Richard Skipper Celebrates Eileen Fulton. A special benefit evening for Habitat Humanity NYC. To RSVP, go to Metropolitan Room NYC website or call 212-206-0440.
Yes they were. ATWT never did well on crossovers, except with Jake. They killed Vicky off, and there was a lot that could have been done with other Another World characters that came to Oakdale like Donna, Marley, and Cass. But they never really pursued anything with these interesting characters. Marley would've been great with Andy. Donna could've been a rival for Lucinda or Emily.
This was the 40th year of Bob and Lisa being on ATWT played by the same actors.

Jake McKinnon was always one of my favorite characters, both on Another World and As The World Turns. Wish they hadn't killed him and Vicky off.
It worked for Nicholas Coste, though he was on a spinoff.
James Rebhorn too, but it was distracting for many.
Emily is a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
