I have same gun are you shooting original breech plug and bolt with red primer holder or is it upgraded bolt and which breech plug I'm trying to switch to black horn for elk hunt coming up thanks nice shooting
Awesome!! I switched to the bare primer setup. This Knight Disc Elite is a shooter I’m very happy with it. How is yours shooting? I’ll be taking mine to New Mexico for elk hunt this year cannot wait. -Kyle
Thanks Kyle I see knight sells the bolt with 209 breech plug is that the one you got ? Knight is impossible to get info from. Mine is shooting well with 777 but would like to maximize performance if possible. Thanks again !
I got mine from SSK firearms. I had to get the Bare Primer Adapter and the Breech Plug Body, Bare Primer. I believe they are part numbers PAK1 and BPBPK1
Hey there! 100gr by volume or 70gr by weight. I weigh them carefully and made sure would be safe for my setup first. The weight and volume can be confusing as I’m sure you know so everyone who shoots muzzleloader has to be extra careful. I really enjoy the little details that muzzleloaders require. -Kyle
Blackhorn 209 with 100gr by volume or 70gr by weight. Always be careful with this as it could be easy to do too much since the volume and weight are different. Thanks for stopping by! -Kyle
Very Good!
Thank you! Really enjoying this setup getting ready for NM elk! -Kyle
