This rendition is free of pretence, gimmicky speed changes or excessive displays of technique. Nedunuri Garu is a master of his craft who is well aware of that fact. So beautifully sung, rich in raagabhaava. He started this varnam in the correct kaalapramaana, slow tempo, that is why it is so soothing to hear. The way he has sung this varnam can be considered the Gold Standard for this varnam. There are a large number of vocalists who sing this varnam at excessive speed and so ruin not only the raagabhaava of Nattakuranji, but also the intrinsic beauty of this varnam. The accompanying artists have also played very well, and in such a way as to complement his melodious and soothing voice, and his singing. A very nice and precious audio indeed.
