If you watch the other video floating about (taken from another angle), you can see clearly that no-one was attempting to lift the power cables as reported by Haitian officials.. the musician / MC who connects with the power line connects with his head because he's does not see the line in front of him. He is holding a microphone which is obviously earthed. Why are the Haitian officials lying, saying that the line broke when someone tried to lift it with a stick?
Man that is shitty all round : what is such high voltage doing so low to the ground?? That has got to be at least 3,300 Volts - nothing less will make a visible Arc like that [and it's probably 11,000V And I still find the 'resulting' stampede astonishing : People Died running from a Wire that is "over there" and hasn't fallen? - In Australia we have to have warnings every summer to tell people to stay away from fallen powerlines - the opposite of a stampede [maybe we are dumber]
