None of these would be on my Top 10 point click adventure games, but I’m always looking for more p/c adventure games for my steam wish list, and I didnt know some of these titles. Thanks for the video
top 10 of all time? I don't have a firm list. But it would include the Monkey Island Series, any game by Ron Gilbert, The Broken Sword series, and likely some games from Daedelic Studios. The Deponia series, Harry and Edna, etc. Hard to keep the list under 10 when there are so many classics like day of the tenticle, kathy rain, beyond a steel sky, full throttle, grim fandango, etc etc. If we are talking more recently, some of my favourites I've played this last year would be Voodoo Detective, Dexter Stardust, the Nelly Cootalot games, Thimbleweed Park and a big surprise for me was Demetrios. Solid game if you can get past the art style. @@FreeSpiritedGamers
Point and Click Graphic Adventure (Quest) games are not a dying genre, but probably the only genre that will thrive in the future. All the rest: FPS, RTS, TPS, TBT, RTT, Hack-and-slash, SIM, RPG, Action-RPG, even RACING, not to mention SPORT c*ap, are repeatable, they are upgradeable as visuals and graphics, but the GAMEPLAY is similar in every new version, and people get bored. Point and Click games are very different from all these above-mentioned, with the fact, that they have 0% gameplay. ZERO PERCENT. They rely on nearly 100% of story: rather, probably 80% story and about 20% music and beautiful drawings; in a way they are like animated illustrated "puzzle-books", or interactive animated films, in which you participate, with the help of a computer - that is, they don't rely on repetitive and thus potentially boring gameplay, but on IMAGINATION, into making the puzzles and the story. Now, think about it: imagination, unlike gameplay, is potentially... LIMITLESS. P.S. It's good to heavily underline, in the title, that this is an "ambitious" Top 10 of INDIE games, not all of them - to avoid angry thumbs down from Monkey Island, Runaway, Syberia, Broken Sword, and numerous other famous series fans.
Yes it’s an indie top 10 or an “ambitious” like you say, I don’t want to add to the list the most famous games everybody knows, I want people to find out indie or hidden gem games

P&C adventure games are now immortal. The genre will never die because of indie devs.
