Sure as a kid I did stupid things and was hurt. All too often it had a lot to do with our parents telling us to go play in the woods, literally!! As I got older the responsibility fell on my shoulders more and more as I learned to know better. Just because you did stupid stuff & survived doesn’t mean it’s ok to continue to repeat the stupidity. As we all grow older we should be learning not to be soo stupid ourselves and NOT repeat the same mistakes. There’s nothing wrong with protecting the kids. This is not harmless fun. I have been to several fatal accidents including speed, lack of control and crowds that gather closer and closer to see better. Then someone gets hit. If you can learn from those mistakes and NOT repeat them, then why not?? Common sense. Not wrapping them up in cotton, as you say. Nope, it can be even funnier but safety it’s also important. Two major issues here speed and close proximity of the people watching, children too next to a speeding cars, police it’s not at fault but the people
@@toninocars Parents need to be responsible for the safety of their own children, if they choose to let them play near a river or on a road, they should be advised by police and if they keep allowing this, they need to be interviewed and charged with child neglect as there IS enough evidence in some videos of this. Why would any decent parent allow children to go and play in a river and on a road after often taking them to the location to watch cars splashing water about. Close proximity does not always mean something is not safe, that is why there are risk assessments, for example a pavement is next to a road, in places of higher risk you will see railings. In this case, the walkway is a considerable and safe height above the road. if people choose to stand in the river on the road knowing that cars are using that road, they do so at their own risk. One complete muppet claimed that a car driving at 30mph in to 18inches of water, which was then slowed considerably in a very short distance, would somehow cause it to leap up verticaly in the air on to the walkway and injure people! This is how thick most of these people complaining really are. Challenge the idiots that complain about these videos. If you feel a driver has committed any offence, you go and report it to police and post the crime reference number to prove it or shut up and go and bother other channels.
Not if the people "sprayed with water" are standing about and have accepted the risk of doing so - not many will walk near a road with a puddle of water, so would definitely be cautious near a river. Who would they blame it it rained? What would be looked at is why the person was there, also whether they knew of the reputation of the area. If a person went to see the cars after watching the youtube channel, they could hardly complain at being splashed. Those types of vexatious litigants do not get far. They usually often progress from tripping over an uneven pavement on that quest to keep finding ways to make money to boost their benefits. I am amazed none of them have been quick enough to get a Highway Code and amendments, then stand or walk in the middle of the road, or ride a bike slowly, just because they can - no doubt more opportunities for a claim! Wait until someone falls over and drowns in the water or a branch falls off a tree. You accept a certain level of risk in life, but are also responsible for your own wellbeing and safety. It isn't something you can demand everyone else sorts out for you.
But the spectators are there and accept being soaked. If you were soaked, simply by walking along a road, that is a criminal offense, but when you engage in this event there is no offense, and you accept the consequences.
If its a warm day people stood there love it when driver go fast to wet em..plod nah days rather sit there an gi people a 60 quid ticket than go out an try an catch them whos stealing all trucks an jeeps all over...allways after easy targets cos they crap at goin after any one else
Easier to sit about to kill a few hours and avoid genuine calls on the radio... if that continues, it will be noticed as every car has GPS tracking and every radio has it too. Positions show on a map and everything is recorded, including from cameras and mics on the radios that can be acivated without the knowledge of the officer for welfare checks.

Take the cotton out of your ears and listen to those of us with loads of experience. You’re not too old to learn.
@@C10sRule You deliberately leave out here, at this spot, and the rest of your waffle is out of context, and as for calling people idiots, that shows the contempt you have for others.
@@gailbirchall2163 - I especially have contempt for those that can’t see they themselves are jerks. I’m fully aware of my contempt for others. They are generally like you are presenting yourself to be. I hope your day goes well. Maybe do some inner reflection before you too chose to show your own contempt. Stay well.
Bloody spoilsports. Nothing better to do.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
😂😂😂😂
No one can have any fun anymore lol
Чё ж копы такие тупые то?
😆
This is so stupid
It’s just not the speed but spraying people with water is driving without sue care and attention
Bloody Sue and her care and attention..she ruins all the fun
Hahahhahahah stuped policia
Gave it a thumbs down because of the inane "music".
A thumbs up for the awesome content and the same message regarding the music would have been kinder ;)
Thumbs up to balance it out - the music and sound effects are exactly why I’m a fan 🎉
Excellent to see the police there!!! Also great no one topped the worst offenders off!! May be great video, but there are more and more kids there now. Kids do random things because they are still learning and panick,,,,,,. I worry about the video that shows it at least speaks of a child being injured because of these show offs!!
Some may remember,,, I warned those videoing that if it’s determined the speed is onceeasing due to the exposure on video, you may be part of the law suit for anyone that gets injured by one of these vehicles.
Some of the vehicles, smaller ones with a wider tire, don’t touch the bottom until 2/3s of the way across the ford!!! They can’t steer, stop, nothing until out of the water!!! If they hit it crooked, they will exit completely out of control!!!
If I were to live in the units where the police car was securing themselves, I would be pissed off at all of YOU for encouraging these activities!!! Certainly would be putting a stop to it due to the fact you are guilty of encouraging reckless endangerment. It may take a couple of trips to city hall, but you would be looking for new careers or subject matter!!!
The videos where the water gets deep and people make mistakes, but are going too slow to endanger anyone else were what had me subscribed, but videos like today’s are the reason why I unsubscribed!!! I can’t endorse this. The cops, I’ll watch. Deep water,,,, sure! The rest is fully irresponsible.
