Just came across your channel love it, I am into leather working as a hobby. Turned into an expensive hobby within the first year I bought 2 industrial sewing machine got tired of hand stitching.

@@MThybo Ok, I know its been a year.. but for those watching this video much later: I figured it out. Towards the end before the model, you can see a little pouch inside the bag that is connected with a strap. This is what page 9 is for. If you want a better picture check the instagram page @hahn_atelier there is a picture that you kind of can see it in there.
I made this bag in a faux leather as a Christmas present for my daughter( first effort) . She loves it. Next one will be REAL leather. Thank you for sharing your skill

The very first bag I ever made was a very similar pattern that I drew up after watching a video on how to make a fabric bucket bag, but this one is so much more refined and sharp looking. I am really enjoying your videos and love the quality of your products.

I was just trying to work out a pattern for a "Pumpkin Bucket Bag" where the bottom base is a circle where the main body of the bag has pleats all the way around which gives it a sort of pumpkin silhouette. I really love your design approach as it always inspires me to produce higher quality leather goods. It is so awesome to be able to go back a reference to old projects for inspiration and construction details! The internet deserves a Nobel Peace prize!LOL! Thanks so much for your contribution you will never know how much you have done for me with your instruction videos!!!Happy Holidays and Many blessings!

@@HahnsAtelier I saw a beautiful Prada "Pumpkin Bucket Bag" on the NY subway passenger and I didn't want to stare too much to try to see how it was constructed because it is the NY subway and I did not want her to get creeped out thinking I meant her harm..lol
The bag definitely was not a knock off but I cannot find it anywhere..it may be from an older limited collection. It was quilted which gave it an even more bundt appearance ..I am obsessed with that bag style but I am not sure how to pull it off?... The bottom base was of the bag was round and I think the pleats or darts attached to the circumference of the round base made the silhouette of the bag spherical with the appearance of sections like a pumpkin which made it "Pumpkin like" bit it was a bucket bag with the drawstring closure around the top...I saw a similar bag on Pinterest. I will email you the photo if I can find it.

I have this favorite pair of pants that fits me in the best ways possible that Iown a few pairs of, but they are no longer being made. I was thinking about taking them in to a tailor to have them make a new pair, but I was wondering if you could make a video on how to make a duplicate of a favorite piece of clothing so that I could try myself first
Actually, This is great Idea. I'm making everyday items around us. I'll put the pants (clothing) in my making list. however these days I focused to making bags and wallets. there are so many things to do in my list already. but I definitely do that in future! hopefully soon. I so liked several variants of this bag that you showed. It seems everything is a bit similar, but each is individual and special! Very cool! This second model is the same handbag, which I spoke about in a previous post. :)

I am still new to leatherwork so if you could answer this, why do you use two different types of glue, one for the body and then a different glue for the straps you make the drawstring from? I just wondered what was different about them. Thank you again!

- I noticed that the 2 main pieces (parts 1, 2, 3, and 4) area a little different in size---one being a little longer than the other. Is it best to punch the stitching holes in the longer piece or the smaller piece?
- This question is regarding your patterns... While I would never try to sell your patterns or templates, is it permissible to sell the finished products in my online store? I don't want to break any rules! I appreciate your willingness to share your templates with us!

amazing!!..may I ask some questions: what type and size of thread used? what size of stitching holes and space between them?
