When I worked on ships I really enjoyed the Ephesus tour. Private tour is smart as it gets busy for sure there. The tour I was on our guide was smart, as we were one of the first tours of the day he had our group skip past the first Odeon so we could have time at the Library and Large Theater without a ton of other people there. I remember climbing to the top of that giant theater.

The Turkish people are lovely people , we have been to Ephesus many times , it’s definitely a great day out , another must is the village tour whilst in port in Izmir , we will be stopping in Izmir in June can’t wait , another great vlog Mr and Mrs Canuck
Turkey is an incredible country. One of my absolute favorites ive been to so far, I went on a cruise yet I would love to stay there for two/three weeks.
A private, curated Ephesus experience sounds heavenly. It's been a decade since my husband and I were there, but we were part of the whole ship excursion, and wow we really wished we had longer to linger and did not feel like one of the herd. Ephesus was just gobsmacking to see for history buffs like ourselves. Some of my favorite photos include ones of each of us giggling like kids to be there. Sad that Jill did not move in for the Turkish Bazaar barter session!
We had the best tour that we have ever experienced! Wasn't up for the barter session this time around. Jill was there many years ago with her mom and experienced the intense shopping then.🚢
Just watched this vlog guys truly amazing, the private experience around Ephesus looked great , when I was in kusadasi , I never went on that excursion, sorry I didn't now after watching this , keep up the great vlogs Jill and Gerry you inspire me to try places ❤❤❤
How wonderful to have a private tour of Ephesus! ❤ We were on Enchanted in August and saw Ephesus on the ship tour. Now I wish we'd gone on a private tour. You saw many places we didn't go to. Jill's lunch looked amazing! Wasn't the marble walkway treacherous? I almost fell multiple times: it's so slick! Thanks for the vlog! I really enjoyed seeing Ephesus again.
Hi, my visit to Ephesus was 23 years ago and it looks even better now. The itenary on this cruise is great! I have a new favorite for 2025 as I have already 3 cruises booked this year. Also the Greek Islands but Turkye is not in it. Enjou guys! Greetings from the Netherlands.
We pointed out to the crew before of how so many people felt the retreat pool was too cold, and after a couple hours they kicked up the heater. Before long it was pleasant.
Were there tons and tons of stairs to climb made from scaffolding? If so, it was probably the Terrace Houses. They're right in the middle of Ephesus under a giant cover. It costs extra to see them.

It would be good to see the price for the private tour but the site did not list them.
It is generally $70 US a person but the price can vary depending on how you personalize your tour. For instance if you wanted lunch it would be extra.

We are heading there in late October. You said it was cold? what were the temps like?
No it was no cold. It was a beautiful days in the mid-20s (80F) and were thankful for the air conditioning in the van after walking around Ephesus.
