  • Bex Baxter, the director of a Bristol company, says it will increase the happiness and productivity of her staff if they are given the option to take menstral leave, insisting that a woman should listen to and be guided by her body's natural rhythms.

    Keep wanting ‘equality’ (as if it doesn’t exist) now want further preferential treatment?

      Periods for 1 out of 10 women are absolutely unbearable. Once a month I have to leave work early because of the amount of pain I am enduring while trying to focus on work. It isn't only pain either. I feel incredibly nauseous on top of the horrible pain, I feel hot, lightheaded. It all adds up and it is horrible. It isn't about special treatment. That is just ridiculous

      @@de72486Exactly. It’s such a shame that those of us that experience that are just treated like we’re weak. I was reading an article that stated only 90% of women can deal with their regular cramps. Even if that is true, what about the other 10%? We’re told we “need to learn how to cope” as a way of simply dismissing it all :/
