in the second example for nyquist plot i mean type 2 third order system, the plot encircles the -1 point in clockwise direction so N=0 i.e system is stable . Can anyone tell me is it correct or not?

In second example of Nyquist plot we have encirclement is 2 right
And that pole is also 2 because of s^2 so that p1=0 and p2=0.
So why became we P=0 consider and system is unstable??????
Any one have answers please tell me.

no, gain margin is defined only for open loop stable systems

no. of encirclement should always be equal to P-Z... Z is equal =0 P=1 ( 1 open loop pole to the right half of s plane) 0!=1 therefore unstable
