      I got a'23 hybrid SE. It was offered to me as I waited for the XLE and I took it and I'm glad I did. Mine has the weather and convenience package so it was more expensive than what your model there was, but I LOVE the heated seats, and the power liftgate is actually kinda nice although I didn't think I wanted it. :) I have dogs and I kind of wish I'd gone for the leatherette seats now, since the fabric really seems to let dog hair cling to it. But other than that, I love my Rav4 hybrid so far. :) I definitely see more XSEs around here than SE, which is probably why it was available to me sooner!

    I got the 2022 SE in Cav Blue with the Convenience Pkg and Weather Pkg, so it includes many extra features and was a little cheaper than than the XSE, like power lift gate, moonroof, larger infotainment screen, heated seats & steering wheel. The decked out SE was a better value for me! The SE region adds way too many costly Add-ons that I didn’t care about. Other regions don’t have those, so I didn’t buy mine through a SE dealer.

    Very Nice Vehicles there Jeff....
    I do like the newer Infotainment Screens (Higher Quality).
    HOWEVER, I miss the physical 'Side Buttons' on the Tablet/Screen like previous RAV4's.
    As well as the 'Tuning Knob'. I use that knob on my 2022 RAV4 as well as the Physical Buttons.
    I find that they are much easier to find and push without having to 'Look' for them.

    XSE Definitely - the power lift gate alone is worth the money. Although the 2023 XSE we looked at had an all digital display so no analogue dials at all (Fuel, H&C and the dial on the left all digital) screen is the whole area. Heated seats are nice but only in the front and larger infotainment system. Sunroof is standard on the XSE which is nice.

    This guy is showing two RAW base models with ZERO MARK UP. That's where these Dealers pull their BS as well. For instance a mark up for a weather package consisting of rubber mats throughout. That's BS, especially when they dramatically inflate the cost. The MSRP can differ from vehicle to vehicle because of this major unscrupulous BS maneuver. Of course mark ups can be OTHER add-ons as well.
    The MSRP quoted to me for a BASE model was $35,500 plus taxes, fees, shipping and final cost was $37,600. THEN they said a week later after finding out SUPPOSEDLY what was actually coming in November from the Manufacturer, it would be bumped ANOTHER two grand for:
    Moon Roof, Auto Rear Harch, Heated Seats and weather package (mats).

    Xse should've def had power seats in the passenger seat, power seats are in the drivers seat but not passenger which toyota seems to do. Also the option of all heated and a/c seats for front and back seats would be nice. To add, Alot of car manufacturers like Chevy. Which we all know aren't the best or most reliable provide a way bigger screen. I love toyota they are very very reliable and stand up to their worth so other then a few things I think they should advance in I'm content. I completely understand don't fix it if it's not broken. If you really want the passenger power seat, front a/c seats and rear heated seats (no available a/c rear seats on the Rav4 - you'd have to buy a Lexus to get that) you have to get the Limited hybrid.

    I was going to wait for the new design 6th gen Rav4 due to ugly infotainment screen of current gen but totaled my car about 3 wks ago so bought 2023 XSE in silver sky with full option a week ago. 21mpg(heavy foot) lexus IS350 to 45mpg(per avg tripmeter) Rav4 hybrid was a big change. Very 1st mod was deleting pedestrian back up alert sound using the resistor. My IS350 was just as quiet when backing up so what's up with the loud noise to wake up the whole neighborhood? I would lightly honk to alert others if I'm backing up in sketchy spot, just how I did with any other cars. JBL sound system is terrible compared to lexus Mark Levinson. Heck, it's worse than the low end aftermarket pioneer system in my 2nd gen Tacoma. Now my biggest con about current gen after owning one is not the infotainment screen(10.5" is actually good) but the interior door handle. Never seen any car with handles at such a forward position. My very first reaction when I got in to drive it off the stealership's lot was "Wtf? how do I close the door????" It's a design flaw and Rav4 is the only toyota model with that design. How do Rav4 owners "control" open the door in tight spots or windy weather? Or worst, how do you close effortlessly after getting in? How about your little kids or elders? I practiced but simply can't get used to it. It takes double or triple effort to close the door compared to 'normal' car with handle in the middle. I might wait and sell it to buy 2nd or 3rd year of 6th gen just because of it, unless I can mod the armrest. It's a big deal yet I'm surprised no TH-cam reviewers mentioned this issue.

    22 Rav4 Hybrid SE owner here. Put a little less than 30k mls now. If you don’t care about every single plastic rattling and squeaking in the car, get the rav4. Dealer refuses to fix the noise issues saying it has a bigger tire. BS cuz I came from 19 Jeep Wrangler, and Rav4 makes all kinds of rattling and squeaking from cheap interior trims that even jeep didn’t suffer. And forget 40mpg unless you drive like a left lane hogger Prius. If I drive normally I get about 28mpg average. If I drive in high speed roughly 25mpg, flat out I’ve averaged below 20mpg. One time in standstill traffic I’ve got 46+mpg so unless you drive at walking speed the numbers are exaggerated. Driving conservatively in eco mode gets 33mpg average, maaaaybe 36 on a good day.

    • @danielplainview6527
      @danielplainview6527 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your rav4 hybrid is unmodified and getting ~28 mpg (or even 35 mpg), then you’d better take it in to get fixed because something is wrong.
      I’ve driven two friends’ hybrid RAV4s, with my lead foot, and I couldn’t get it below 38 mpg.

    • @stevenkim9637
      @stevenkim9637 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@danielplainview6527 It’s 100% stock, factory tires with recommended tire pressure. Did you drive in heavy traffic city only or like 50mph on the open road? Idk what’s your travel speed but I normally cruise north of 80mph. But yeah I have my car set to reset average mpg when you put gas, so the screen shows tank mpg. I normally fill it up, so it shows like 300+mls range after fill up. And unless I baby the car in eco mode, it’s impossible to get 38mpg, most likely somewhere 32-33mpg range is more realistic. If I’m in normal mode and with fairly heavy foot driving, it gets me like 26-28mpg range. Spirited driving or if you’re in a hurry, typically below 23mpg and if you drive like you stole it then it’ll do south of 15mpg. Years ago I’ve rented a 3rd gen Prius from TJ border to Orange County, and the computer said average of 18.8mpg. The biggest flaw of the car is the top speed is limited at 118mph while a gas Camry can go 130+, and despite the gas tank says 14.5gallon typically you can’t use 2gallon ish even when refueling with 0mls range. So when the range shows ‘refuel’ it still only takes 12-12.5gallon not the advertised 14.5gallon.
