Thank goodness the scientist was allowed to explain things. I hate when these scientists or animal enthusiasts come in to show things and then never get a chance to show and teach.

What kind of laser is it
Could someone explain, is that just a regular laser like what you'd use to play with your cat or is it much more powerful
More powerful and typically larger. Still available for sale though
While lasers are typically red or green, they are usually low powered (milliwatt range) for cat toys and presentation pointers.
The laser used here was probably half a watt to one watt of power.
Laser cutters typically start around 20 watts to cut some plastics and go up to hundreds of watts to cut thicker materials and denser materials.
