Great interview and fantastic insights. Plenty to consider for me personally as I have adopted a similar approach in the past and coincidentally created some of the same analyses. Andrew though has taken it to a different level. Well done.
Hey it was one of the best interviews, had a question though, you won in enhanced growth division, but didn't talk anything about futures and options, how do you use them?

Excellent personal story , hearing lots of things that happened to surely many of us during the journey of learning trading. Thank you both for the valuable content.
Hands down the best interview on this channel. Loved the mix of technicals and fundamentals and really like Andrew's approach and how he views the markets! Plenty of new concepts to explore and even some new excel models to make haha. Great video!

I study the mindset of great athletes like Kobe and Jordan just as much as I study the minds of great traders. So many parallels! Appreciate the kind words TBrad!
This was a great tutorial and analysis of expectations. I learned a lot from Andrew's explanation of things I don't normally look at. I also loved his comparison to sports, as when I started my trading education a year ago, almost all recognized mentors refer to psychology and trading mindset. The point for me is I applied almost everything I learned in trading education to tennis and general decision making, as the rules are the same for all. Thanks Andrew for your insight.
How much do you live off of? Is that based on your profits or a set amount each quarter or yr? Do you have a certain amt in a taxable account and a certain amt in a retirement acct? Do you make quarterly tax payments based on profits early on?
@realpristinecap Hi Andrew, great interview, could you please tell the name of monthly value area indicator which draws that boxes on screen. Is it a free or a paid indicator? thanks
Thanks @realpristinecap and @TraderLion . One question: How to enable that indicator in Tradingview for monthly range that you shown there in WAL stock ?
Hi Andrew. Thanks for sharing your insights . Is the Markets in Profile indicator available in Trading View? If so, what is the name of it? Also, would you recommend the book by Dalton, Dalton, Jones?
Fantastic interview! Thank you both. Lots of key takeaways and love the catalyst approach to trend reversals. Also really identified with the correlations btw sports and trading.
A value area shows where 68% of trading volume in any given time period occurred. The monthly value area looks back at the prior month to see where 68% of the trades for that month took place 👍

Great Interview as always. I really like Andrews approach. I have seen this value zone come up a few times recently.... time for me to do some more research!
Wow. That's great. Its a different perspective on the markets. I also watch the DXY, U.S. Dollar Index and I have an indicator for comparing it to stocks.

He is talking about market profile techniques. Market profile, value areas, point of controls etc.

Is the USIC the same USSIC? The Unites States Stock Investing Championship doesn't seem legit?
