I am glad someone made a video on different rounds. Generic rounds make up the majority of my stack. So it always cool too see different types of them.
A very nice collection of silver rounds Sal. I might take the time to pull some of my favorites and do a video. There certainly are many to choose from. Thumbs up!
I really like the incuse Indian round. It is a unique design with lots of details in it. It is a special coin and I would like to have couples of them in my collection. Thanks for showing them. You motivated me Sal. I am considering to do my first video for top 10 coins. Just for the fun of it.
Hi Tere, Thanks for being my first pre-viewer although I have not produced any video yet. :) I will encourage you to do a test run to see if you enjoy doing it. If you do post your first video, I will check it out as well. Good luck to you too. HeathBabe
Awesome list Sal!! I think that Lakota round is amazing and I have not seen too much of it. Also, I have to agree about the Freedom girl round and silver shield. Sent you a PM sir and thanks for sharing!!
Really love those Scottsdale Omnia rounds. I've got 10 sheets of them that I paid TOO much for. But what the heck...they are mine and I ain't selling. Cool vid Sal.
I wouldn't turn my nose up to any of those coins Sal,they are all lovely designs in their own right,i could choose a winner today and tomorrow the result would be different 🙄
Fantastic review of the Rounds Sal...Enjoyed much!!! The Lakota definitely would of made our top ten if we had one! What is so cool about collecting rounds is at my LCS...99% of the time she's sells them at the same price...if there 1 year old or 45! Fantastic and interesting way to add weight to the stack! Appreciate the Shout buddy!:)))
I love that Lakota round with the depiction of Crazy Horse. I have two of those in proof and six non-proof, plus a tube of the copper versions. Wish I had bought more of the proofs. They are stunning.
Alphonse Mucha rounds are the best I have seen. Freedom girl is a good choice for the list. The hobo nickel has one with the guy smoking I think it was was just incredible to look at for some reason. Gotta love when they really put effort into these rounds. With some you could care less what the price of silver is going for. Any prospector is a top round for me and brings out the American spirit in myself. Cheers
Thank you for this showcase. Awesome. Love them a lot of variety. I like that Lakota tribe it's a sovereign nation then? But thats sweet buffalo love it
Nice variety of rounds. I like the Pillar Dollar/8 Reales round, it almost looks like the actual coin! I believe the Lakota round was produced by Mulligan Mint. Yes, the same Mulligan Mint that made the Silver Bullet Silver Shield rounds. Mulligan Mint was formerly known as AOCS Mint.
I want one of Those ship rounds the SS Gairsoppa so badd.. Sal you have some awesome pieces brother I even like your coins/ Rounds.. Have a good week brother
I enjoyed that far more than anticipated. not fav but still love the zombucks. it's hard to explain the paranoia USA was experiencing after 2008 but Zombies seemed to help us get thru it.
Easy answer, you have too much when you run out of places in your house to install more safes. Then you must sell them for gold to free up some space. Not a problem.
Fifteenth! Hi Sal. How about a Top 2oz. round video. As a fellow High Relief Aficionado, I believe you would like the new 2oz. high relief "Don't Tred On Me" round from Apmex. I just received mine and it is so cool! Also, I picked up the first in a new series, the "Icons of Route 66 Shield" (Illinois Gemini Giant) 1oz. silver non-round! It has the highway shield shape. It comes with a shield-shaped capsule at a small premium over spot, considering the special capsule. I am gravitating toward the 2oz. high relief format in my generic bullion purchases. The new kid on the block is the 2oz. "NEX-GEN" bullion from the Perth Mint. However, they are not high relief. Keep Stacking!!! *:-)*
Nice choices Sal! I totally missed out on Elemetal's Buffalo rounds. Now they hard to acquire without paying a hefty premium. The Junius Maltby round was also quite nice round. Where was the Provident's Prospector round on your list?
Community Information Post: JMBullion has the 20 Francs Gold Rooster for almost $14 under spot, after 10% ebay bucks. Please feel free to share any deals you find, I know many of us are interested. Hope this helps somebody get a nice deal on gold.
Was just wondering ... of course all the rounds are weighted but was curious if there is a market for people to buy sell or trade specifically for a pattern design?
Not a fan of lower quality "generic" rounds. But appreciate higher quality "premium" rounds. Germania would be a prime example. Freedom Girl round is also nice, but a lot of those are a bit "circulated" and not in the best condition sadly.
Sal the 2 oz Mercury Dime round is my best round , nice chunky coin. The Perth dragon/tiger coin has already sold out from Apmex and JM Bullion. I was able to get in on 6 coins.
You should have included the Furtitude round in the top ten -- it seems to be a notch better than most rounds. I think that official coins are much prettier in general compared to rounds. That's expected, cuz the national mints can afford to get the best artists and have the best stamping dies. Scientific experiment for you, Sal, would be to show your top ten rounds next to ten coins to NEWBIES and see if the coins get the nod for a higher bar being met in beauty. That'd be a great video.

And the winner is... closest to spot.
I would rather argue that the Libertad is a Coin.
I think you're right.
Sadly in EU-area they tax highly the silver rounds, but not so much for the coins with face value. So that makes the rounds too pricey for us.

Very cool rounds Salivate but............No Furtitude? I declare B.S.!
Well, the Furtitude is a 1.75 ounce.
Yeah you're right , I completely didn't remember that as I was spouting off from the safety of behind my computer. Good point.
