Hahaha I only do it when I'm short on time, but it would have taken me a good 2-3 hrs extra waiting for them to bake then to cool if they had been in the oven, as it's not the biggest oven! X x x
Copied this last night for my girlfriends birthday today except I changed 1 layer to vanilla, doesn’t look as good as yours but not bad for my second ever cake! Thank you for only English video on kinder bueno layer cake
To be honest I'm not sure how this one turned out like it did because it was the first layered cake I'd ever made ....ive attempted it again and its never been as good !!! Im glad it helped you make it for your girlfriend though! Tell her happy birthday and I hope she has a lovely day x x
Wow! How fab do your cakes look? You would never guess they have been baked in the microwave - well done you. Also your dog is soo cute. Lost mine last year but he was our assistant chef too! ❤
Aww thank you ....im honestly not sure how that turned out like it did because I've attempted it again and it was definitely not looking like this when finished haha !!! Aww im so sorry you lost your furbaby.... storm is 11 now and she is starting to show her age and I cant bare the thought of not having her around ! If only we could have them forever 💖 x x x
@@funinflorida4913 you're welcome, it looked amazing and it's a good job it turned out so well for the video. Thank you. It was such a heartbreaking time he got poorly a month before his 8th birthday. It is such a shame they can't be with us forever or at least grow old at the same rate we do. When they leave us there is a void that can never be filled. I wish her good health for as long as possible. Hope you and your family are keeping safe x
I'm going to try this today. I'm worried I don't have the right size containers though. It looks amazing. I also love how you do you buttercream. As your not worried about mixing the butter first etc
Use 60 grams of dark choc chips and 60 ml of double cream heat both together 10 second burst in microwave give a good stir you may need an extra 5 seconds and you have made chocolate ganache for your drips 👍
Soooo goood well done! I want to try this for my sons birthday but i'm scared to microwave the cake lol! How was the texture? And how many days did it keep for? Xx
The microwave is definitely a quick and easy way to make a simple cake, my parents used to do me it as a child if I just fancied some sponge and custard for a treat! Thank you for watching ! X x x
You can for the cake, but for the butter icing I would stick with unsalted butter, just because its firmer, I find using marg/stork for butter icing, can make it abit sloppy ! X x x
I'd probably do them at 180 for about 20-25 mins just to avoid any burning ! We have an electric oven and I did a little cake the other day on that temperature for 25 mins and it came out really nice ♡ x x x
Hi, im so sorry I've just seen this comment ....i don't know the exact size of the tub, it was just a round tuppawear tub from sainsburys ..they were a couple of pounds each x x
Awww amazing ! I will also try the milk next time I attempt it again! So glad it all worked out for you! I am still shocked it turned out okay for myself hahah xx
Very pretty!! I can't say I have ever seen a cake made in a microwave!! Well done Sara!👏

Wow amazing video really useful and helpful.
Has anyone tried this. If so how did it taste? I want to make it but I'm not sure if this recipe will taste nice 😬
Is the dripping chocolate just melted chocolate or something else and if so how much chocolate would I need to make it
Chocolate and runny cream x

How long did you wait before Icing
I waited a couple of hours for the sponge to cool x
I'm def going to try this never made in microwave before thank you for the video X.

Can you use stork spread
You can for the cake, but for the butter icing I would stick with unsalted butter, just because its firmer, I find using marg/stork for butter icing, can make it abit sloppy ! X x x
Isn't 800 grams of Icing sugar too much and won't be too sweet?
nice
What temperature can I do in oven ?
If I do a cake in the oven I usually do it at 180°c for about 20-25 minutes x x x
Hi looks lovely, what temperature in an electric oven would you cook this please. I'm going to give it ago 👍👍

I'm not exactly sure on the size ...it was just a round tuppawear tub from sainsburys, they were a couple of pound each ! X x x
Hi can I ask what size tubs are these that you baked the cake in? Xx
Hi, im so sorry I've just seen this comment ....i don't know the exact size of the tub, it was just a round tuppawear tub from sainsburys ..they were a couple of pounds each x x
Please put grams not ounces. Anyone please what’s the grams??
I made this for my granddaughters 16 th it was fab I added a little milk to the buttercream so it spread a little easier and I didn’t use all of it 🙈
Awww amazing ! I will also try the milk next time I attempt it again! So glad it all worked out for you! I am still shocked it turned out okay for myself hahah xx
Did u wait for the drip layer to cool before adding the toppings?
