Hey Liz! There should be some type of Disney website/ webpage for auditions. In my experience, they look for people of the same height around 5’4. I also have a background in theater that they were aware of however, I knew many cast members that had no prior experience- just passion for Disney. While it may of changed, we would have numerous casting calls and pairing with different faces to see how we’d look in character. It was also helpful to all look the same-ex.body type and hair in case we had to switch a role and play a different princess. It would help be to speak eloquently, have extensive knowledge on every princess since most times you don’t know what you’ll be cast as. Most importantly, improvisation is everything. You need to know your role inside and out as people will test you. I hope this helps!

I just played Marie in a community college production back in April! I must admit I was struggling with the key change in this video, as I had learned the song in a much higher key. Instead of Belle’s part, I was singing the chorus part in the background “(my solo) “This bread, it’s stale! (Chorus) Well maybe so, good morning. Oh, good morning!” I miss it so much! It was such a memorable experience! I even fell in love with one of the techies, the mic guy Grant❤ Although I haven’t told him yet and I don’t know if he feels the same about me.
