    Alokda, if duryodhana was the one who chose first, and as he chose 'Narayani sena' what remained for Arjun was Lord Sri Krishna.....
    Was that not injustice to Arjuna for he was not given choice but had to get on with what remained?
    It seems that Actually Arjuna was not given any choice....
    It was his fortune that what remained for him was same thing he would have chosen if he had given any choice at all!

      Actually Sri Krishna did turn to Arjuna first as he was standing at the Lord's feet. But Duryodhan who was standing behind the head had come first and hence hastened to demand that he be given the chance first. It hardly mattered to Hari since by then the Divine Will had already chosen which side to put its weight. Hence Duryodhana's buddhi could not have chosen anything else but the Narayani Sena. Such indeed is Sri Krishna's play as Sri Aurobindo recounts in the Uttarpara speech.
      '"I have shown you that I am everywhere and in all men and in all things, that I am in this movement and I am not only working in those who are striving for the country but I am working also in those who oppose them and stand in their path. I am working in everybody and whatever men may think or do they can do nothing but help on my purpose. They also are doing my work; they are not my enemies but my instruments. In all your actions you are moving forward without knowing which way you move. You mean to do one thing and you do another. You aim at a result and your efforts subserve one that is different or contrary. It is Shakti that has gone forth and entered into the people. Since long ago I have been preparing this uprising and now the time has come and it is I who will lead it to its fulfilment."

    @AuroMaa could you please enlighten me a bit more on the issue. As Sri Aurobindo said, "Nationalism is Dharma and Dharma is Nationalism". What could be the reason behind for Sri Aurobindo's request to Gandhiji, to accept the Cripps Offer, which at the best offered Dominion Status to India.

      'I say it again today, but I put it in another way. I say no longer that nationalism is a creed, a religion, a faith; I say that it is the Sanatana Dharma which for us is nationalism. This Hindu nation was born with the Sanatana Dharma, with it it moves and with it it grows. When the Sanatana Dharma declines, then the nation declines, and if the Sanatana Dharma were capable of perishing, with the Sanatana Dharma it would perish. The Sanatana Dharma, that is nationalism.' Sri Aurobindo
      It means that the very purpose of the Indian Nation is Sanatana Dharma. It is meant to be the guardian of Sanatana Dharma without which, however militarily or economically powerful India may become, it will not fulfil its true destiny in the great cosmic work. It means that India occupies a special place in the comity of nations and it is to be the light of Sanatana Dharma to help and guide mankind in its perilous journey through time. Hence to know, live and become one with the Sanatana Dharma is in utmost national interest since this alone can save India and the world.
      As to the Cripps proposal, Sri Aurobindo saw it as a Grace since the British had already decided to depart from India. It meant practical freedom in every sense which would soon translate into a complete separation and secession from the British. It was meant to be a temporary provision during the War following which India had right to be totally free from the Dominion. Sri Aurobindo would have clearly foreseen that accepting it would have meant eventually (very soon in fact) as the war ended a united India in a single piece. Obviously we missed the opportunity by not heeding Sri Aurobindo's advice and continue to suffer till date.
