When the body came out I couldn't stop thinking of Metroid
The colors are so bright. They really pop out even on video. High quality. 👌
Robin's outfit is genuine to his character yet has the armor over an under suit look of traditional samurai armor. The head sculpts are phenomenal and each one really sells his attitude.
XM crushes it again- Samurai line is killer. Great detail, inspired bases, paint is spot on. The hood is definitely the best portrait. The sculpt vs MM capes debate will go on, sculpted definitely looks perfect here. Great review, thanks Gem!
Xm is killing it with this whole line. If I more room and money, I would collect these.

The samurai robin just add another layer of badassery that is robin this is simply amazing the detail and quality is on point props to the artist phenomenal stuff much love to gem mint for always giving use the key gems of the comic culture! Mad respect ✊🏽

Damn. This Robin sculpt is outrageously good. Wow. Love everything about it. Those three portraits, the base, and switch out options are all in sink with each other. This is one fantastic piece of sculpture. Very impressive with concept, Paint, and sculpt. Really love this piece.

I wasn't sure when I heard about the Samurai Line for Batman, but so far the Nightwing and Robin look pretty good. I like how XM is doing the costume design so they look more present day/more futuristic samurai.

I agree, this is my favorite samurai statue so far. The burnt cape is great, the red and green really pop and the temple bell is a very nice touch. Hooded face FTW for sure.
BTW speaking of Doom guy, did you ever get the DOOM diorama that Gaming Heads did a few years back? I love that piece.

Love the paint. Kinda reminds me of the Batman and Robin suite only in regards to how shiny it is. I think this samurai line may be one of the best ever. Each one has been great and would love to see all of them together.

Sold what little samurai pieces i had, but i might consider picking this piece up solo. It's so good.
It is really good and I agree that the hood portrait is the best, the texture on the hood is something I've never seen before, it looks really intricate and realistic. Makes me wonder if the same technology can be used to make hyper realistic looking skin one day.
