4K Drone Footage - The Beast Re-tracking - March 2022 Update

My channel is all about aerial drone videos. I am a Part 107 Commerical FAA Remote Pilot and I will be posting drone footage from various places around the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area. I will also be traveling with my RV and filming places around the United States. The idea of this channel is to give the viewer a different propective of landscapes from above. I will be using a Mavic Air 2 drone from DJI.
Today's flyover is The Beast at Kings Island. This is a March 2022 update on the re-tracking project. This drone footage was recorded WHEN THE PARK WAS CLOSED! Enjoy!

I just really hope they take the trims off the mid course break run.
The beast used to fly through the middle portion of its course but now it goes soooo slow & goes into the second chain lift at a snails pace. I miss when the beast used to hurt because it was flying around those turns so quick lol.
They should really replace that straightaway with a few airtime hills.
You really get a feel for the topography out there with this view, thank you!

lol I loved this because when you are on the ride in the past like 2000 you dont see the tracks below you where they can drive.? it wqs built in the hillside and youn see that when riding it back in the day. I just love this coaster and it is dear to my heart one of the first I have been on back in my younger years. Ride it at night front seat and IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!!!!!!!!!! If you go to Knigs Island this is a must.

Kings Island has so much room to build on
This is my second favorite woodie of all time. The Cyclone on Coney Island in Brooklyn is my #1 favorite.
But there is something special about The Beast that keeps it up high on my list.

Much needed
I want to see someone take a cine' whoop and fly through the whole course 3" off the track... Or maybe something like a Skydio with its obstacle avoidance could be waypoint programmed to do it.

They were test running yesterday should be opened within a week.
Watching it makes me wish they did more with all they land they have back there. Re-do the ride, make it more exciting! But then I think, it's still a great ride and then it would only be a memory. Glad they are doing the work to keep it running for years to come.
Yes they have so much to work with compared to cedar point ,my home park. I think this video speaks to quality over quantity.
As an Australian, I have to say deciduous forests just look weird to me.
It's crazy! When the trees have their leaves on it's a whole different world back there!
It's also crazy how much the forest actually influences the ride experience. The experience you have riding in April is different than when the leaves are green in July or red and yellow in October. I don't even bother riding it until the foliage comes back lol.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! RETRACK IT!!!1 KEEP IT ALIVE!!!! Now six flags America should do the same thing with Wild One and keep that thing alive for another 100 yars! And Roar... Please for the love of god do Roar... Or just RMC it...
2 miles long two sides to track so 4 miles worth of wood at least.

Project is aimed to be done this Thursday, the 31st. So let's hope they actually make that deadline!
Anyone know if it’ll be open to start the season, I’m planning on going there May 7th and cedar point May 8th.
They said a few days ago it will NOT be running/ready for the opening on Apr 15.... Won't open till "sometime in May".

I wish they'd have gone with any other company except Gravity Group. Every single one of their coasters are overly rough.

I don't understand why this ride has 3 trim breaks in a row following the first Drop they even one on the second drop Smdh they will never make this ride better all they done is slow it way down
Please remember, its illegal for Kings Island or anyone who works at the park to threaten people, especially guests of the park, to fly over the park, especially off season, which is totally legal. If there was anyone who was sent emails by the park, these all need to be saved and sent to FAA for federal investigation of the park.
Did the park seriously send out emails?
@@Coasterteam Yes they send out emails and even tell their park security to call all passholders that their passes will be revoked if they show the park in any drone videos at all. Even though its totally LEGAL to fly above or around the park especially in off season. The park has been reporte to the government and FAA multiple times.

No thank you. If anything GCI should be contacted to retrack it (like they did ghost rider) and put MFlyers on it so the track doesn’t keep getting ripped to shreds by the god awful PTCs.
Not everyone wants every wooden roller coaster to become an RMC. Better if they build a ground up. Leave the beast the beast... not "Iron Beast"
