I always assumed Disney does this stuff early 'cause not everyone going to Disneyland/World is going to be able to do it at the exact time necessary to celebrate the holidays. Not complaining though.
@@LobbyLoiterer I honestly think they just know people love Halloween and want the $$ from an extended season. But I'm also not complaining; we get verrrrry little Halloween fanfare in Australia and I'm waiting for spooky stuff to hit shop shelves here.
@@Jeshikamosame in the U.K. we only celebrate it on the day and even then it’s not much .. wish it was celebrated longer and sometimes on a similar scale as America .. it would be so much fun and lovely to see everywhere decorating and celebrating same with Christmas
@@GeekyC. Right!? Australia barely even recognises it. It's definitely more accepted now than it was in the 90s, but it's still a case of most houses keeping their lights off and not participating - generally if you've got goodies for trick or treating you need to actively decorate your house to show it's okay to knock. I'm seeing all these huge animatronics and decorations you can buy in the US and goddamit it shipping wasn't a million dollars I'd be getting it all.
It’s just Disney trying to make as much money as they can on special ticketed events. They close the park early for these special events and make you pay for a different ticket to be in the park in the evening. It’s a lot of fun, but they make a fortune on it since people basically pay twice to go to the same park if they want to stay all day and see the party at night. They immediately start the Christmas event November 1st.
They have to start early in order to sell as many tickets as possible. Especially considering WDW is more tourist-y than Disneyland. They probably want to make sure everybody who wants to come can come. It would be overcrowded if they only did a short amount of time. Also, Christmas people literally celebrate once Halloween is over sooooo 😂

I kinda like Hocus Pocus At Disney World Florida 🇺🇸 Halloween show. 🎃 🖤
It is August 11. I am in awe of America's commitment to Halloween.
