Thanks Fred 👍🏻 I still have loads of left over carpet so I'm still thinking of more ways to use it up. I also have more bed slats. I find it satisfying to use up scraps to make something. It gets the creativity going.
You should have over sized the carpet so it would wrap over the sides and stapled it to the bottom. Why? Because it softens the sides so they don’t scrape any woodwork when moving things around and will definitely stop the edges fraying.

Another great job, Phil.👍
Thank you Ian 👍🏻
Good idea about the handle Phil. Cheers.
Cheers Ian 👍🏻 I got that handle from my dad he spent about half an hour buffing it to make it shiny. I was like a magpie and took it there and then 😆
Nice one Phill, a very simple piece of equipment but very useful indeed and will last for years and years, regards, Fred

Nice job mate ! 👷👍👍 I'd maybe be tempted to turn back the years and use it as a type of skateboard . 😁
Thanks Alex yea I was tempted to get on it but I don't have the best balance and didn't want to end up going in my pond 😆
Any ideas on how to get an 1800x600x600mm 19mm thick fish tank up 25 meters paving steps?
I have seem sack trucks that have a kind of revolving wheel that goes up steps. Have a look for them on google.
very nice should be longer will be better but u need expriances of making too
I made it to measure for a dryer so it's a perfect fit. The dryer sits on top of it.
