Arlynn you are so sweet, kind, and loving! I’m enjoying your home tours and crafts, also your travels and wardrobe blogs. You have so many talents and have such a beautiful home! I’m grateful I found you on UTube. I will be a fan and watch everything you do❣️❣️❣️ Lots of hugs 🤗
Excellent video, easy to follow. Personally I prefer to call them 'welcome rings' a wreath is something one takes to the cemetery. The colour you have used are stunning. I'm watching this during isolation!! Ordered my Deco mesh, keeping myself occupied during these difficult times.
You have such a beautiful home and love all the decorations :) If you ever need a house sitter for the holidays then let me know lol.....just kidding! Thank you for the great tutorial and happy holidays!!
Very pretty, I like how this turned out. You gave me an idea as to what to do with a big Christmas tree I have, also. I'll have to give this a try. Thanks for a great video.
I just discovered you! Love your aesthetic, I'll be "borrowing" lots of your ideas. Also like the puppies - I'm babysitting a pug - her name is Soffi too - she watching with me.
Hi Allyce! Welcome to my little channel here, thanks so much for subscribing. :) Thank you so much for your sweet words, and give that little Soffi pug a hug from me! :)
Arlynn, what I love about your projects is that you aren't necessarily a country purist- I enjoy some country and some glam, and you cover it all! Your channel deserves to grow! As a faithful blog reader years ago, I know find I don't have the time to read blogs like I used to-I definitely think if you want to see your channel grow leaps and bounds, you need to be posting on Instagram and linking back to your blog and yt. A lot of people, including myself have drifted away from fb and love hanging out at Instagram. Just a suggestion!💙
Ok ran over to your blog and friend, if you aren't on Instagram you totally need to be. Your stills are so swoon worthy! The traffic coming over to your blog and yt channel will absolutely grow tremendously!
Hi Tracey!! Oh my gosh girl, what a great suggestion, I will definitely work on setting up and Instagram page for my crafting (I have a personal page, so hopefully, I'll be able to figure out how to get it all set up...haha). Thank you so much for all of your sweet and encouraging words! I so appreciate every single one of them. :)
Hi Christine, thank you so very much girl! I have a craft bow tutorial, and it will show you how I made that bow on this wreath. :) Here is a link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XI0bR...
Christine: And I also make another kind of bow, and I just did a bow tutorial along with a "Deco Mesh and Ornament Garland Wreath Tutorial" that I posted the other day...Here is a link for that video, the bow tutorial starts at around 14 minutes 55 seconds in the video: th-cam.com/video/9vUm597zBxg/w-d-xo.html
Hi Deb--Thank you so much!! I purchased everything for this wreath in Hobby Lobby, and that is where I do the bulk of my shopping. I also shop online and in a local country store here in my town. I will also venture into Michaels once in a while, but, not as often as I frequent Hobby Lobby. :)
I’m curious. It looked like your wire form was upside down, compared to how I do it. Is it, and if so, why? Maybe I just wasn’t able to see it clearly. Thank you and I love how it tuned out. I can’t wait to try this method.
That wreath for your Dining Room is gorageous! So pretty! When you flashed by your dining room table in the middle of you lantern and not your candle, what was the flickering? Ty
Hi Sandy, thanks so very much!! I am not sure what you were talking about regarding what was flickering. I guess there are a couple of options, one of course is the snow glow candle that I had sitting in that wreath (but you said not the candle), so it had to have been one of the bulbs of the mini LED light strand thatI had going through the arrangement. (they were white but since they were LED lights they were glowing blue)
I love LOVE this wreath ; ) If anybody had told me burlap would make a pretty anything, I would have just smiled. Where did you get the stand you use to work on your wreath? I think that would be very helpful to people with disabilities that still enjoy crafting.
HI Lori! Thank you so very much for all of your sweet words! I got that stand from Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon..it wasn't expensive at all and I use that thing all of the time. :) I agree that it would be super helpful to folks with disabilities! :)
Hi Cheryl--Thank you so much. For this wreath, I purchased everything from Hobby Lobby. I made it out of regular burlap (brown), and a plain deco mesh with jute (blue).
Can you tell me please what the approximate cost for materials were to make this wreath - or an estimate for something like it, and did you purchase them all from Hobby Lobby? Thanks so much! :)
Hi Tanis, I honest to goodness do not remember what I spent for all of the parts and pieces for this wreath. I do know that I purchased everything at Hobby Lobby and I did not buy one thing at full price, everything was 50% off.
Thank-you, Arlynn. I ask as I am having a very hard time finding a good materials selection in Canada. We only have Michaels here; what they carry is not anything much that I would use (junk), and their prices are crazy even with the constant 50 & 60% off sales. Ordering from US with dollar exchange and duty will not be cost effective. I am trying to start a home-based business, but so far it does not seem like a viable idea due to materials sourcing. :(
Could you please zoom in on your materials as you introduce them and describe what they're made of in case it isn't obvious to your viewers? I only have access to internet via my iPhone, and can't pause and zoom without taking screenshots, exiting your video, and still not always clear pics. Descriptions in your video information with links or supply lists with product names, codes, sizes, other, would also make your videos more popular and shareable. Thanks! God Bless and Merry Christmas 2016!
myohmy451 - Hi---Thank you for your input--Whenever I can, I write a Blog post to go hand in hand with whatever video I'm posting. Said blog posts always include close up pictures of the supplies along with a supply list and other information. If you do come back to look at more of my stuff, please check the description of the video and extra links will be there (there is a link to the blog post that goes hand in and with this video in there now). :) God Bless you and Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. I'll stick that blog post link here for you: countrycraft.me/2016/11/19/christmas-2016-blue-snowflake-wreath/

Do you remember what it's called, I can't find it under "wreath" (and I guess there's a chance they don't sell them anymore either ; )

Tanis Gentle I hear you, I have several friends who live in Canada who’ve had the same troubles. I’m so sorry. :(
Hahaha we forgot thing some time :) but the that add to the wreath much stand out
Did you turn your wreath the wrong side in to start. I coulldnt really tell
Interesting comment..."Wrong" side? Some might say it is the wrong side, for me, that is the way I've always done it.
Could you please zoom in on your materials as you introduce them and describe what they're made of in case it isn't obvious to your viewers?
