  • A young woman travels from Louisiana to see Dr. Nick for answers for her jaw, bite, and facial pain problems:
    -headaches
    -tension in her face
-a bite that never feels stable
    -super sensitive teeth to cold
    -generalized chronic orofacial pain
Watch as Dr. Nick and her discuss how her case was rather easily diagnosed using objective digital tools including MRI, CBCT, T-Scan, EMG, Jaw Tracker, Mastication Analysis, and how she was a candidate for a slight bite/occlusal change that made a world of difference for her. She was not abler to find answers from any other doctor that she had seen prior to seeing Dr. Nick.
Essentially, the tools pointed the way for not only DIAGNOSES and TREATMENT, but for MEASURING the results after treatment as well; because MEASURED MATTERS!!

Hi DR. I have worn mouth gards and went to physical therapy for two months for my jaw pain which includes headaches and ringing in my ears. This has gone on for years and i cant handle it anymore what should i do next? I am desperate. I absolutely need to feel like the patients in your videos

Hello Zoe. You’re missing the point. This isn’t DTR. DTR is not a “cure” for everyone, nor should it be attempted without first vetting the orthopedic TMJs. This patient underwent a thorough orthopedic and neurologic diagnostic work up before we ever considered touching her occlusion/bite. NOS is the screening protocol that we put her through, which included mri, cbct, Tscan, mastication analysis, emg readings, and diagnostic neck blocks. Only after the diagnostic boxes were checked to predict efficacy did we proceed to alter her bite via the MAGD protocols. There is currently no one in Canada using the NOS protocols at this point in time. Send your local dentists to the CNO where we teach docs how to initiate objective occlusal and orthopedic computerized metrics including 3D imaging, NOS diagnostic protocols, and MAGD on appropriate patients in their practices. Cnotmj.com. My Best. Dr Nick
