Hi Julie, loved the video. York is such a beautiful place. Have you been to the York National Railway Museum? It's free to enter, but you have to book a ticket online. They have some amazing trains, and you can walk through the only bullet train to be outside of Japan. I have watched your family for years through Anastasia, and I think Atticus would really love it.
You should look into seeing the Ghosts in the Gardens in York if you're here in October half-term. It's free to do (I have a few videos). Also, there is the cat trail and we have some beautiful parks (museum gardens, Rowntree park etc). We also have a windmill, but it's quite a walk out of the city and is located in a residential area. 😊
I only live about an hour from York so go often. Its my favourite city too. My daughter has started working at the hospital three. You shoukd go visit the gtave of Dick Turpin

Hi Julie :) Have you been to Edinburgh with Atticus before? I think you'd both really like it! It's my favourite city that I've ever been too, the architecture is incredible, so much history and lots of haunted places too! It reminds me of York in a lot of ways. If you don't mind the longer journey it's a nice train journey up there especially when you get to the north east coastline (a very picturesque view from your window). I'd recommend staying there a fair few nights as there is so much to do and look at. Edinburgh is particularly magical approaching Christmas!!!!!
If you're back up north again, it's a bit further on but try and go to Howarth! Especially on the 1940s weekend if you can! I think you'd absolutely love it
