You can tell that a lot of effort went into trying to make this engaging, but that hard plastic by the knee and the glossy surfaces, along with all the tech, won't let this age very well IMO. Great coverage as always!
That's a very attractive SUV. Either I'm warming to SUVs, or some of them are starting to ditch the boxy look and become more attractive. I'm also happy with the screens. At least someone isn't phoning it in and sticking on a screen with velcro. This one gets major credit for integrating into the dash.
Great review. I'm disappointed with the lack of padding where my knee would hit, feel like that would bug me every day. I like this vehicle overall but the infotainment screens need a refresh IMO. When my time is up with my Mach-E I plan on looking at wherever the latest etron is as a replacement, but I probably won't buy it unless/until they refresh that aging 2 screen setup.
I got the launch edition a few weeks ago. Built like a tank and drives like butter. > competitors IMO. I cancelled my Model Y order for this, even though this is 50 grand more, it's addicting. I don't know about the IX but everything else is just straight line speed with nothing much else.
This is very interesting as someone whose spouse owns the prior model year. I believe those had an 83 kWh battery pack, so that's quite the jump up. The extra range would be nice, but I'm guessing she probably would have had to wait even longer for this one and would not have gotten quite as good of a deal.
No I have the 2022/23 Etron (before the rebadged Q8 Etron). And battery is 95.3 KWh with approx 230 mi range. This newer refresh has a 114kwH battery capacity with a “supposedly” 270-300mi range.
All of the gauges failed on my Audi at 14,000 miles, every gauge, even gas. It was out of warranty, no recall, Audi wouldn’t fix it (even though it was all over the internet with many other owners same problem). Will NEVER own German again. ….Love my Genesis!
Nice my brand new A6's alternator failed and left me stranded on the highway. So they sent me 10 grand and gave me a nice loaner after I called corporate. I bought the e-tron and upgraded to an RS6 Avant. Genesis is garbage.

A 4 second 5000lb SUV. This is getting out of hand. Also that center console is an instant no. They robbed all of that space for a wrist rest with near zero space in the arm rest.
bor Audi is getting so old in their interior design, and their softwear. even their eksternal looks so boring. they should start to become more bold like bmw and mercedes. the infotament system is the same as when the first car gor released. iu looks like and upgrade done to the first windows softawre system. and it spens to long time reacting to touch.

Yeah I love that Audi is one of the few holdouts that actually integrates the screen into the dash.
I've seen a few of these on the road near me and I think they look amazing. I always do a double-take when I pass one haha
only way I could afford one of these was buying used, so I didn't get the refreshed stuff, but man is it an amazing vehicle.
