This is an awesome and exciting episode, with all three contestants finishing over $20,000.
I loved when Helen hit the tent trailer and her total went to over 15,000 that both Kurt and Sheila both started clapping loudly for her. Like they both wanted her to catch up to them. Shows they were good sports.
I liked that too. All three were very likable.

Loved Kurt's personality. He was one of my favorite contestants. This is one of the best played episodes by all 3 contestants I've seen. The Adele-Bob--Lee episode (296) was pretty well played by all 3 as well, but Bob nor Lee hit 5 digits like these three did.
But it was strange that his strategy was for the whammy to "show yourself"....who wants to hit a whammy on their turn?!
I get the sense of that not being strategy - rather, he was just taunting the Whammies, so to speak. 😛

I always thought that this was a great game show 😄. I wish that it would have ran longer. I remember that it ran from 1983-1986. It was great seeing a winner, win a lot for one day. Thanks 👍.

Probably the best game in the new neon board format, until Episode 643.
Since the car was the one huge prize left at the end - the motorboat and tent trailer both being hit - and since it peaks at over $6000 in value, lately I've wondered if that would have given it to Helen, a la Randy West.
Answer: No. It wouldn't be hit until three games later (#561), and would be $6130, which would have left Helen just $38 short here.
