Finally I get some time to watch your final!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE the copper against the green Jus.........the copper needs to be used again. I think it would look great with a gunmetal tone and even a silver tone........this truck is stellar brother!!!!!!! The battery tray is simply terrific man.......the details in this build only elevate the truck kit.......super well done!!!!!!!!!

A lot of great tips you shared.
What is that tool you used to do the cuts?
That is a tube and rod cutting jig. It's pretty useful when you need to make multiple pieces the exact same length. You measure and mark your first piece of material, then put it in the jig and line your mark up with the cutting hole. Then set the end stop and lock it down and make your cut. From there you just put the material back in and cut over and over and each piece will be the exact same length. It's a bit hard trying to cut with a hobby knife. I want to try it with a razor saw, but I need to get a razor saw lol. Micro mark sells them for a huge mark up. I got mine on ebay. Search "Vice cutting tube cutter jig". One thing I don't love about it is the clamping arm can mar your material where it's clamping down. I'm thinking about trying to glue a tiny piece of rubber under the arm so it will hold better and not dig into what I'm holding down.
