Your style tips are always on point! Can I make some suggestions on how to more engagingly and frankly effectively communicate these tips? If your start the video with you wearing a simple t-shirt and jeans and then cut to you wearing something that models the tip you are talking about, then we could see the difference. For example, cut to you wearing the same t-shirt and jeans but with a cool statement jacket while you are talking about layering. TH-cam is a very visual medium! Why not take advantage of that?
Some of these comments are so hateful. Why bother? Instead please do everyone a favour and go elsewhere if you can’t say anything positive. Lauren is a respected professional, treat her with respect. She’s putting herself out there, you’re just commenting on a page. Show up and bring it as she does,or else leave.
I always wear black and white or all black. I started wearing pastel blues, pinks, and light purples while wearing black--I am pale so I usually wear jewel tones. I stay true to my classic black style but adding colors will definitely add something new. I have gotten a lot of compliments. So this does work and it does make a difference. I love simple swaps, I will try that tomorrow! Love your channel!
This is such a great video! I'm late to the game but I feel like these tips are very much applicable to the style scene today since being stylish is truly a lifestyle. Thanks for posting this!
I'm trying to elevate my style by adding a blazer/jacket instead of a cardigan to my typical t-shirt and jeans look. My shirts are a combination of solids, stripes and graphic tees. Do you think I'd be better off with a navy blazer or a navy and white herringbone blazer? Most of my wardrobe is navy, gray, white and black, with pops of color here and there.
Purple Roses I know I'm not her but I find that with ALL black it's good to play with texture. eg leather pants with a black cotton t-shirt or black jeans with a black silk top. A black fur jacket with a leather skirt. That's just one tip.
I love how you revamp your style and are not afraid to admit you changed your mind and style as time goes on...we all do now you are human like me...lol
How can you wear a dress during winter? Sometimes you want to, but when it's 1 degree out, you don't necessarily want to go totally bare on the legs. But... you want to be stylish. You don't want to wear tights. You don't want to run the risk of looking ridiculous with thick leggings. Questions, thoughts, comments, suggestions? Thanks.
This gives me a place to start. I USED to be very stylish and also used to model. I've gotten away from all of it. Now I'm much older than you Lauren, but I think your tips are on point and classic as well as ageless. They will help me get my style back. Thanks for posting. Keep it up. I've subscribed so looking forward to more.
You claim to "teach" but you don't show us any pictures of you in any of the so-called styles you "teach". Unfortunately, we see pictures of people that we cannot relate to. You tubers show examples of what they illustrate on themselves. In short, you are not a teacher by example. I honestly, expect to see what you wear. I don't even know why I subscribed 😔
All of your toes are popping out of your shows were it not for 2.5 millimeters (or 0.2 inches) (see 1:26) . Is this a part of dressing more stylishly, to not be able to actually walk in the shoes you are wearing? Or is the idea to be so well-off that you can hire someone who's gonna piggy-back you around all day long, seven days a week? Thanks in advance for the clear-up!
I swear you are the best I've seen on here. *subscribed*

Micaela Wedge I feel the same way! But I
have heard that printed hosiery is back in for the fall.
The thing with hosiery too is that, for me, I don't like the feel. They drive me crazy.
YOU hair is so beautiful ooommggg😍
