Game has changed a lot over the last 6 months.. it seems a lot of casual fps gamers are playing now. You have these few players on each team, that will go AWOL and throw a big monkeywrench into the flow of the game. Still able to have these very fun and intense battles, every now and then
Yeah honestly. Yesterday I had a game where I was playing as a squad leader (only played as SL like twice) and our commander was awesome but the rest of the squads were just all over the place doing fuck all. Like literally we had a full server and it was pretty much only our squad attacking whilst other squads were fucking around.
Being squad leader can also be fun. If you have a hunch of where enemy team might go, then playing as leader or commander, can really make a difference
Although I rate Project Reality: WW2 higher even than Post Scriptum, this is still an incredible game. If it ever captures the intensity and insanity of PR:WW2's Omaha Beach map I will probably move it up to the top of the list.
My local server has voting rather than the fixed rotation.. because the fixed rotation has Dinant, Stonne, Utah, St. Mere ( night ), Carentan, and Arnhem as the first 6 maps.. and no amount of chemotherapy can cure that kind of cancer. Also the admins will kick any SL's that refuse to play the role, start squads and leave, or dont have a mic
I personally like these never maps a lot more since they feel like there is more of a purpose than just cap a zone. Although it really isn't any different

The rest is guys who make the squad and immediately dump squad lead off on someone or just quit. This is about the only thing HLL seems better in. I've only had 2 games where the squad lead made the squad and bailed. PS seems to just have nothing but leader less squads most of the time i play. PS is by far better of a game but the squad lead issue is very annoying.

2 things that bother me aboyt this game. People your realism but you can throw grenades a 100 yards. Grenades are not light. You lob grenades not throw them.lol...and ballistics. There is no way anyone can hit a loving target over 50 meters away aiming directly at them. Then you add distance. It takes a second or more for sounds to hit. This is more automatic even targets 300 meters and longer. In reality, that's impossible and then hitying targers at that range that are moving hy aiming at them. And a little more annoyance. Especially the 30 cal needs tracers. It's an area weapon. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game. It just needs some fixes to make it more realistic.
You do realize that a 150gr 30-06 round out of the M1919 has a muzzle velocity of like 3000ft/s right? That's 914 meters in a single second. Obviously reduce the distance ever so slightly because rounds don't travel at muzzle velocity for the entire flight, but you get the idea. 50 meters is damn near point blank range, and as someone who has actually shot at moving targets (not people, I'm not in the military at all), you won't be doing hardly any leading at that distance. Especially not on an infantryman in full kit, they don't exactly move very fast. You also absolutely have to lead targets and account for bullet drop in Post Scriptum. Also the Mk.2 grenade is only a pound, I don't think anyone could throw it 100 yards though, but I definitely didn't see anyone throw it that far in Post Scriptum either. I know next to nothing about historical M1919 ammo belts so I have no comment on tracer quantity.
Ch2 was a total mistake. The maps are garbage, the play between french and german is slow and boring. the weapon options are uninteresting. its a blight on an otherwise good game

the thing about the browning is that it can be boring for long periods of time, but then in short bursts it gets EXTREMELY intense
