The Saxons also "lived" in England for six hundred years. Saxons, although considered Germanic people, also lived in Scandinavia. To get the answer "Germany" for the last question, the question would have to be, "Where did most Saxons originate from?"
Another great quiz....thanx, Sean! On the silver screen the bonus question appearances are called cameo appearances, however, that may not be the same for television. I like to think it is.
Fun Quiz, Liked and Subscribed. But on Q44 what are the differences between the Teutonic Order vs the Knights of Templar that made one the choice over the other??
Wow! Thru process of elimination I get more right than just guessing! This was a little hard but I still did well. Love these quizzes. Thanks Sean! New York
Good morning Sean! I love learning, so Back to School for me! 37/50; Answer to the Bonus question: Cameo Appearance. Thanks so much for another Great Quiz! Wishing you & everyone here a wonderful weekend!😊❤🌼🌾🏵🌻🐝
34/50 Most errors in the pictures part because I don't know the names in English. I am still learning and I enjoy your quizzes. Bonus cameo. Thank you.
7/10, 7/10, 7/10, 4/10, 6/10. Cameo. I always get blown out by the picture trivia since I can't make educated guesses there. Stay safe over there, Sean.
I got 41/50 and this is my first Detormentis quiz. I did make a few bad guesses and wish I went with my gut. But I still apparently have Hawking-level wisdom. So if I do have to go back to school, guess I'll make it Cambridge.
Gee!! My sinuses indeed affected my thinking today!! 26 my lowers score ever!! As for celebs that Dona special appearance on a show it’s called a cameo!!
50/50. Good day for me to take quizzes...LOL. Everything just fell well for me, and that doesn't always happen to any of us. Enjoy doing your quizzes and you do a great job of giving and presenting us good ones. Have you ever had the answer on the "tip of your tongue"?? That happened to me for the bonus question, but I just could not come up with the answer. I got my answer by reading fellow quiz takers posts. Cameo...thank you quiz friends. 👍
First time I've had zero wrong, after round 1. A few dumb answers, due to the time restrictions, though: so into one of my normal categories; Fleming. I do enjoy them, though certain categories do challenge me.
Einstein tonight.... I don't text on cell phones so, didn't have any idea about that one. Can't believe I confused the Finland flag for that of Scotland... as soon as the answer came up, I realized my mistake.... sigh.... I will blame it on getting old... and the mind going. Fun questions overall....
The pyramids are much more ancient than the current academics lead us to believe. Graham Hancock has done extensive archaeological analysis on this subject in case you want to begin your own research.
I am an 83yr old dodderer. Have not done one of your quizzez before. 46/50. Some observations. 1st section, no of characters in sms. I have always had it at 140, when did it change? Trivia, pure guess on the po musical. Q25, name for an innkeeper as Boniface. Cannot reconcile in my Thesaurus? Bonus question answer is a cameo role. Better quiz than most on You tube, difficulty 4+, not riddled with sports and pop stars and absolute nonsense.
I searched the internet, to see if it was first 140 characters, but everywhere indicates that it has always been 160. On Twitter though, originally, the amount of characters you could use, was 140. This increased later to 280. According to the Mirriam-Webster, the definition of a boniface is "the proprietor of a hotel, nightclub, or restaurant". According to Dictionary.com, it is defined as "any landlord or innkeeper. a male given name: from a Latin word meaning “doer of good."
@@detormentis l bought my first Nokia 'brick' in 1992. Voice and SMS only. 140 chracters. Maybe networks in SAfrica put limit on service as all Nokias that l got after had same limit. However smartphones does seem to limit at 280. The Beaux Strategem by George Farquhar (1678-1707) had Will Boniface as innkeeper and a later author referred to an innkeeper as such. Then into common usage.
@@detormentis Just an aside, l do not do social media and have no TV, just a phone and SMS service, not even WhatsApp. Boniface is not listed in my Oxford English Dictionary or my Roget's Thesaurus.
Lets goo 45/50 but i got most of the questions not because I knew the right answer but because I knew what the wrong answers were about or referring to for example I knew the scale of wind was not richter scale bcz it measures earthquakes and not scoville because thats for peppers
Hm.. 33 this time which is better than my standard dead average of 25-27. Only is supposed to be an easy one according to its title - back to school etc - or is it ?
Never get tired of these! Cheers, Sean!
Another great one Sean, I did well today. So happy chappy, look forward to the next one.
Thank you Sean. Great quiz. 45/50 by the skin of my teeth. Bonus question is cameo I think. 🤔

Correct, and great score!
The Saxons also "lived" in England for six hundred years. Saxons, although considered Germanic people, also lived in Scandinavia. To get the answer "Germany" for the last question, the question would have to be, "Where did most Saxons originate from?"

Not sure your right about Stonehenge being older than the pyramids. Pretty sure the pyramids are about 6000 years old and stonehenge about 5000
Stonehenge is correct; 5000 years old. The pyramids are 4500 years old.
The pyramids are much more ancient than the current academics lead us to believe. Graham Hancock has done extensive archaeological analysis on this subject in case you want to begin your own research.

A walk on? Also asserting that Stonehenge is older that the pyramids is debatable.
Stonehenge is estimated between 5000 and 6000 years old. The Pyramids at 4500 years. Thank you for watching.
