The old has pass away and behold all things have become new. He is a generational God. His Holy Spirit lives in the believer so we have access. He is saying access has been granted Precious One's! You probably know this by now, but you completely missed the mystery that was revealed to Paul in ch 2 & 3 - the new creation that God made in Christ. Also, Paul at this time was literally a prisoner in Rome. His point is that Rome did not have the power to throw Paul into Jail - he was a prisoner because of Jesus' will. 8 min in was as far as I got. You should read commentaries by the giants of the faith to get their insight.
Sounds pretty good but you miss the big picture of what’s really going on and how different things are in this dispensation. SMH. It escapes nearly all of Christendom => and why so many denominations and non-denominations exist => and why we present little else than chaos and confusion to the world. The world went from a prophecy program (that was performance based) to a mystery program that is 100% Grace (a free gift). They (the Jews) stumbled then fell => and so their program diminished => so much so that it isn’t in use today and won’t be until close to or after the BOC is raptured.
