- After a long day on the road, The Crow stopped by Lake Jozini for his monthly bank bashing -Tiger session.
With limited bait and time, , the Crow was under pressure and tried it all, from sards to live baits.
The fish were actively feeding in the shallows and as the session progressed they came on wild into the sunset.
Unfortunately, he had to call it in whilst the fish were still biting due to the reserve closing times and a big croc watching all the fish commotion 😉
Loosing 2 big fish which was well over 3-4kgs, with lots of smalls landed and a couple decent ones inbetween.

Lake Jozini is situated on the outskirts of KZN, beaming with untamed wildlife and adventure you somewhat feel like you are in another era.
There are several accommodation options on the waters edge and surroundings with activities that nature lovers and the entire family can enjoy, fishing, game drives, trails, guided charters/tours, restaurants, spas and so much more. A prized adversary can be found here and a bucket list for many, the ferocious Tiger fish.

So whats the point of using all that energy fishing and then toss back the fish
Its called catch and release as a sport so others and future generations can continue to do this. The ripple effect is tourism, boats, hotels and employment for all
If everyone takes out fish from the dams they will become empty and then the system crashes, long term stability

Hayabusa octopus for bigger fish 2/0 and 3/0 all round
The eagle claw trokar bass hook 3/0
Light gauge linx powerplus finnese 3/0

Yes so far we haven't had any problems although in sa no where is truely safe
